Dolphi nodded once as she looked down on him, hair gently falling over her shoulder, a small look of concern across her features. A small, delicate looking had settled on his shoulder as she nodded again.

“Yeah... you were drowning... are you alright?”

She spoke softly, watching the stranger for any signs he may be feeling further pains. 

The stranger coughed and hacked, before spitting out the saltwater.

“HHHHHHGGGGCCKKK!!!… hhhh…”

“Unngghhh… wh… uh…?” He opened his eyes to see he was brought aboard what looked to be the deck of a ship, and then noticed the stranger beside him.

“Huh..? Were you the one who saved me..?” Contrary to what his icons would depict, he wore no jacket, it would seem he was missing it but he wouldn’t notice straightaway. Instead, he was moreso surprised by the fact that he didn’t drown amidst the seemingly boundless sea..

“Thank you... and We’re all Wada’s familiars...”

Dolphi leaned against the table, tapping her fingers against each of the drawings’ hearts. A soft breath escaped her again as she gave a small smile toward the other.

“We’re kinda like family now, I guess... Fukami helps whenever I’m really scared of something, and Memoca is fun to play with, and such... I care about them.”

“It’s a lovely drawing..” She hid her hidden discomfort towards her previous memories of Fukami and Memoca, seeing as she witnessed to the Seagull having her neck crushed at the hands of Fukami previously.. But she was relieved to see that may not be a scenario to worry about here.

“It’s easy to tell you have a strong connection to Fukami and Memoca, may I ask how? Why..?”

“... ok...”

She mumbled as she watched him, breathing slowly as the pain began to ease away, leaving the gentle throb of the wound itself. She wiped her eyes, feeling the gentle tears stroll down her face, dropping to the salt water below.

Feeling the other’s arm steady her, she relaxed, knowing that falling in would probably be more painful than anything. Her eyes gently closed as she took another few deep breaths before he nodded.

“ I’m ok... but can you ...stay? ”

She didn’t know why she said so, but... she felt the urge to. She didn’t think she could stay very steady without him.

Samekichi flinched from the noise despite himself. He’d expected something for sure, but he couldn’t help but feel immediately guilty for doing it all of a sudden instead of at least preparing the other. Then again- he wondered if it would have been worse to tell her ahead of time, have her brace herself, and have the anticipation only make it worse. He glanced up, wary of being seen, before continuing to press down on the wound, occasionally lifting the bloodied bandage to inspect it. Slowly, it started to stop with the increased pressure, but Samekichi knew he’d be there for at least a few minutes more. Breathing out a sigh, he settled with the tip of his tail in his lap, continuing to exert the same steady force.

“You’re going to be fine. It’s already starting to stop. It’s a bad wound- you’ll have to disinfect it like we just did when you can. Freshwater might be better off for you, but I know it’s harder to find- and it’s easier to kill off shit with saltwater. It’s up to you. I’d keep it covered, switch out bandages at least once a day and wash it out just as much.”

He reached his other arm to try and steady the other a little more and closed his eyes.

“You’d be fine if I left now- if you just kept the pressure there. But I’ll stay if you want me to- leave if you don’t. You okay?”

Sorry for the lack of activity lately! I’ve recently been dragged into Overwatch by the teeth.

(in which i have made a tracer rp blog if you ever want to check it out, hint hint wink wink )  

Along with making that, I’ve been having problems with some college things, so whenever i get the muse for dolphi, it doesn’t work out too well, cause my college can’t get its sh*t together aaaah.

i’ll get to replying soon, and then probably jump back to tracer once all responses are done!
