Nice people use drugs. People have problems. People sometimes use drugs to cope with their problems and sometimes that causes more problems. But using drugs is not an issue of morals and we need to stop looking down on people as if it is. Drug users are people. Fantastic way to launch DCU's new Drug Policy this afternoon coinciding with our decriminalisation referendum campaign launch. So happy to have support from @analiffey and Merchants Quay Ireland as well as @dublincityuniversity and @dcu_su. Massive thanks to @phillymcmahon whose documentary #thehardesthit we were able to screen and have an appearance from the man himself to talk to us about his experience.
