I am weak for temple kisses.

Started this ages ago and finally was inspired to actually do something with it. My art background is mostly scientific illustration, so it's rare that I do something more artistic and sketchy. I could probably fuss with this for ages but I decided to just post it. May or may not play around with trying to color this. Who knows, maybe I've awakened my inner fan artist.

Diver!Illya/Astronaut!Napoleon

maybe a llittle angst<3

After they finished their night activity, they stayed in bed and no one wanted to take a bath. Napoleon fiddled with Illya's fingers and said that his next mission would keep him away for half a year. "If you miss me, you can go diving, because the deep sea is the same as space. No sound, no touch and no gravity, but I'm always by your side." Illya took it as another horrible Napoleon Solo joke and threw a pillow at him to force him to take a bath.

Then Napoleon left and didn't make it back, something went wrong with his return capsule. Illya felt sick when he saw the list of astronauts killed by the disaster on the news. His Napoleon shouldn't just be described by a line of letters or a number. Then the president deeply mourned, then a funeral was held, Illya looked at the slowly moving coffin with some untimely pride, he knew that Napoleon wasn't there inside that stupid box. After these shit ceremonies, he would go diving and meet Napoleon deep down the sea, Napoleon would always stay by his side.

napoleon in bathrobe

Hello, I found these drawings I made last year inspired by your post so I thought would show it to you 🥺❤️ sorry i didn’t ask for permission but I really adore these scenarios✨ hope you don’t mind

I see your Little Cowboy conversations and I thought about making it super, super somft.

For example; Napoleon gets hurt and is sleeping off the aftermath. Maybe it was field surgery to remove debris or a bullet. Maybe it's just a common sickness that wiped him out for the count.

Illya starts to hum at first. Quietly. Then begins to sing. A gentle, soothing lullaby about the Brave Little Cowboy. Things he'd rather die than say when Napoleon is conscious, but things he wants to say none the less.

But Little Cowboy; he can say that any day. Far too fond for his own good. Soft and low, staring at Napoleon far too warmly as his little American partner raves about solving the case of the day.

Yes, Little Cowboy. So smart.

When Napoleon's too bratty, too mouthy, his index finger gentle against his plush mouth.

Shh now, Little Cowboy. Quiet, yes?

When a case goes wrong. When Napoleon is hollow-eyed and curled up in the bed of a safehouse, Illya wrapped around him, the world's deadliest guard dog.

Sleep now, Little Cowboy. Is safe.

Hello, I found this drawing I made last year inspired by your post so I thought would show it to you 🥺❤️sorry i didn’t ask for permission but I really adore the little cowboy idea ✨ hope you don’t mind!

OMG yes yes yes yes yes to everything about this photo, it is AMAZING.

Look, I have a major weakness for Napoleon taking it upon himself to fix Illya’s tie or collar. Like he absolutely just starts getting in Illya’s personal space to help him out and adjust little things that are askew without warning or asking permission or anything, because why wouldn’t he? They’re friends, it’s no biggie. And of course at first when it starts happening Illya has to keep himself from knocking Napoleon over automatically, like how dare you come at me like that?? But then he gets used to it, and he *gasp* likes it, because it not-so-secretly makes him feel cared for.

But then THIS PHOTO makes it so much better because Napoleon stretching up—standing on TIPTOES maybe—to fix his hat? Amazing. Or even “hold on there Peril your hair is doing something funny” and then he combs his fingers through it??? And of course Illya does not knock his hand away but he’s also not going to bend down to make it easier, nope no siree, if Napoleon is going to do silly things like that he deserves to have to work for it, nevermind that he has to get pretty close to Illya to reach like that and when he stretches up it draws attention to that narrow waist. Illya will just stand there stoically, pretending he’s not enjoying the view and also desperately trying to keep himself from grabbing onto said waist.

Also you should know that even though I claimed I was NOT going to write a fic based the previous Little Cowboy post I am a liar because I got plot bunnied for a totally absurd and cracky fic in which Napoleon keeps completely unintentionally and unwittingly tempting Illya with that body of his, and now there’s probably going to be a scene based on this photo too, because why not. Add it to my mental writing queue; I really need more hours in the day.
