Book one:
WIP - E Class (Currently working on the fourth draft)
E Class is an exploration into society’s obsession with perfection and the effects that could have if in the future, that Obsession stems into a full scale movement lead by politicians and scientists from the top of their fields moderating all of the human race, sectioning and segregating each human based on a series of tests which look for how ‘perfect’ a human is in several differing categories.
Initially, for those unfortunate enough to fall into any of the three categories below a 'Class A’ human (ranging from B to D Class) their civil rights will be stripped from them and they are placed in Ghettos across the world where they were to await termination of life.
Hundreds of years down the track, clever marketing and propaganda has seen people turn a blind eye to what happens to those trapped inside the Ghettos, many of the Class A humans no longer realising just what happens inside those walls, fear used to keep them away and lies fed to them to keep them sated. As the push for perfection grows, more and more Lower Class Humans are being terminated and with the extinction of Class D Humans and the soon to be eradication of all Class C Humans a force is set to rise up and fight back.
But at what cost will this come at? When those above you want nothing more than to kill you and the whole world is wiling to watch you be shot down on prime time TV, is there really anything worth fighting for? Or should you just wait to see the day when a bullet is put in your head and your life terminated for the sake of perfecting the human race.
Jack Galen doesn’t know if he’d rather a bullet against a wall or a bullet fighting. The elusive Doctor Gavril seems content only when there are people injured fighting for him to heal and Aleksandar, the Class A boy taken from his home and held in the Sofia Ghetto against his will, isn’t even sure of what is right and wrong any more. Together, they’ll fight, but even combined they are nothing like the storm that is coming.
That storm is named Laine Drake, who proves that what is labelled 'perfect’ isn’t always true perfection.
Taylor Walker-Williams is forced to attend Cardinal Preparatory School in San Francisco after they break into an FBI holding facility to help their parents escape. They would have made it out perfectly fine, if they hadn’t forgotten to turn off the security cameras. But that’s in the past. To get out of being thrown in prison they agree to attend CPS, a government run school for kids who mess with the government on a major level (a surprising amount do), for their high school years.
Armed with an ankle bracelet, a knife that once belonged to a now long dead Witch high priestess, and earbuds, they set off to get through freshman year as quickly as possible. It works! For about three months. A walk in the woods one night ends in a ghostly encounter and five other kids getting super powers. Taylor must now juggle class work and learning how to be a Witch, which was never supposed to happen. Taylor is descended from a long line of royalty from a hidden land called Adref, but they knew that already, what they weren’t ready for was getting magic when they had grown up human. Too bad they are now on the other side of the country from Jess and Tori.
As they scramble to figure out their magic, they now have to deal with new friends. Slightly crazy and superpowered friends. But it’s fine, they have a bunker and accidentally built an AI. It’s fine until a new kid shows up halfway through the year and takes an interest in Taylor, or how a supervillain is challenging the entire group, known in the news as the Bomb Squad, to a fight. All Taylor ever wanted was their parents back, this is so much more than they bargained for.
Venom In Their Eyes [Mistakes Made Series- Book 3]
Synopsis:
Taylor really hates the government with a burning passion at this point.
Things are normal for the first time in a long while for the Bomb Squad. Junior year starts off calm and quiet, with the exception of an AP physics teacher from Hell for Taylor and Aiden. Everyone is talking again, and living together again. The FBI is still looking into them, but that’s not that important.
Until it is important. Turns out Jayden was a bigger douchebag then everyone thought he was. Taylor gets questioned by the FBI again and this time, it’s more dangerous than ever. The FBI are onto the Bomb Squad, starting a game of cat and mouse, and you can guess how that ends up. With Taylor in custody and Jess and Tori in Adref, it’s up to the Bomb Squad to get them out.
This school year is going to be more than just a clash of swords. It’s going to test everyone. It’s more than just a vendetta against the government this time, it personal. The government is going to find out exactly why ever letting the Bomb Squad meet was a bad idea.
Taylor wants their throne back, thank you very much.
Senior year looks very promising, especially when the first day of classes gets spent on the roof. Too bad nothing ever stays easy for the Bomb Squad. Luna appears to the then, telling them that are needed in Adref. They pack up their belongings and to a prestigious boarding school in England.
They struggle to fit in against the posh students while Taylor struggles with the idea that they may have to taken up both the vampire throne and be high priestess. With no bunker, and no idea what Adref will be like they dive head first in, like they do with everything. The Bomb Squad manages to secure their place in school fairly quickly, mostly due to their vaguely threatening performance in gym class
Adref is another story entirely though. They are forced to hide and wait while the Tyranny Pack completes its goal, complete control of the thrones. It’s going to take army to help save Adref, too bad they only have the Bomb Squad to help. It’s shaping up to be a bloody, dirty conflict when the two groups finally meet. Good thing that’s what the Bomb Squad does best. One way or another, they’re gonna win, even if it means their death.
