Non-algorithm AO3 is beautiful and should remain untouched forever.

I just searched something on there way out of my usual interests, and my first thought was, "Oh no, this is gonna mess up my recommends." But it's not, and it never will. I can look up the exact opposite of my interests on AO3, and it will never come up again. It won't haunt me.

I think about all the stuff I simply haven't looked into on sites like youtube because it would give me weird content afterwards and I'm too lazy to do a guest search or go incognito. Modern internet is hell actually.

when i saw the headline ‘golf digest helps free man from prison’ i thought it was gonna be, like

“he’s clearly in the background of this golf photo! that proves he wasn’t at the crime scene!!”

as opposed to, like

“this guy in prison sent us his cool golf fanart but we didn’t want to promo a serial killer, so we looked into his case and thought it looked pretty flimsy and probably racially motivated”
