Catching up with Bluesummers Week 5/7 - Hair New hair cut, new outlook? I attempted to reference Tom Stall's hair from David Cronenberg's film "A History of Violence", but didn't have the heart to chop the fringe that short. In the end I think it just ended up just a short Legato cut x'D (I can recommend that film for fans of thrillers or Viggo Mortensen :3)

"You have been trying for over a hundred and fifty years, forgive me if that does not inspire a great deal of confidence in your methods." Legato breathes out and runs his hand down his face, tone dry but no longer filled with nothing but despair. Its something, something more then he had before.

The human nods and hesitates a moment before shrugging in slightly bitter defeat. Its obvious enough that he's at a severe disadvantage traveling, let alone trying to carry a bag as well.

"You may as well come along while I do so, I suppose. Carrying a pack for long periods will not do me any favors." He turns to head toward the home he's staying in only to pause at Vash's words. After a moment he glances back, bangs shielding his eyes again.

"Knives is the only reason I lived past fifteen. He is my savior and the first being to ever listen to my desires and allow me to choose my path. He gave me a name when I had none. I would have done very nearly anything for him." He glances away again. "His abandonment hurts more then the damage to my body. I know it was... cruel. But I've loved him for a decade and I don't know how to stop." He continues his careful hobbling walk towards home, mentally composing a note for his caretaker. If only she was here and not working, he could say goodbye properly.

Watery gold peeks through gloved fingers at the Plant before him, still listening despite everything. The jealousy and hate still itches under his skin but its not something he can do anything about anymore. Knives had found him unworthy for his attempt on Vash's life, continuing his vendetta now would achieve him nothing at all. The disappointment of his caretaker at best. Being turned out of his one place of safety at worst.

But Vash's words give him something he hasn't had in years now; some small ray of hope for a future. He'd always known Knives' plan to eliminate humanity, himself among them. Now perhaps... maybe maybe maybe.

"I... could help save him? Save the Plants? Humanity has done very little to give me hope for their intentions but... there are some I want to save." One really but she wouldn't approve if he saved her alone. He runs his hand through his hair, tugging sharply at the strands.

"Fine. I'll... go with you. I have things to gather but... I'll go. I will do whatever I must to save him even if I have to work with you." And to do that he'd need better healing to piece his spine back together fully. Demeter did amazing on her own but she was no surgeon.

補充一下背景故事：

Knives是個擅長戰爭的國王，Legato是個小國的王子（繼承序位排得很後面幾乎可以說沒有機會），該國為了獲得K國的庇蔭把他送來當國王的隨從，或說人質。

Vash不在國內，人們以為他被趕走了，事實上是為了讓戰爭打不起來而四處奔走。

Ｗolfwood也是王子但是他們的傳統是所有同輩王子或公主都有繼承權，兄弟姊妹們必須互相競爭、遊說，直到所有人都承認某個王子可以成為國王為止，在那之前都跟平民混在一起。

（設定上Ｖ是黎明而Ｗ是黃昏，但我沒時間畫他們了，以後有緣...🥹）

"No, I suppose its not. This is why I have a decently large bed and why you should have a bigger one. We deserve to be comfortable, after all." As much as he teases he doesn't see anything to be embarrassed about. Livio's just massive and thus should have a bed that fits him.

"We'll find you something."

"I think your legs will hang off a normal bed and if you roll over you'll fall out." He's never offered his couch for a reason after all. Its not nearly big enough to fit someone Livio's size.

"You're a damn giant," he says with a grin. Scared the daylights out of him once but its reassuring now.
