I’m cautious with giving out my Discord (I’m not much for DMs and I’m mostly on there for friends’ fandom server shenanigans), but I will share it w/trusted mutuals if asked. Just know I’m terribly shy & I don’t start conversations easily except once in a blue moon. But I do love hearing from friends!

I haven’t had the time or mental energy to do much with any of these sites yet but I do intend to start posting old art on most of them & testing the waters more. They may focus on Dead of Night Studio art stuff to start with, but if I find one that speaks to me the same way that Tumblr did I wouldn’t mind sharing more of the general dumbassery I get up to. :). Then again, I need to start sharing more of my dumbassery on here, too. 🤔

ALSO! If any of you have recommendations for art-friendly sites, I’m all ears! I refuse to make an X or TikTok account (& even Insta is on thin ice with how incredibly vile random strangers are on there- so I’ll probably never do more than post art & run away). But any sites, even small ones, that are good for sculptors, painters, cosplayers, fiber art, etc. - I’d love to hear about ones you recommend!

Hello! Since I seem to have become The Deer Person, I decided to run a deer-themed art challenge over December! This is my first time hosting a challenge so I would love it if you joined in and showed me your art!

There are daily prompts, and also weekly prompts if you'd like to do one piece per week or work these into your daily pieces. Week one: garden and summer. Week two: woods and fall. Week three: mountains and winter. Week four: marsh and spring. Week five: village and holidays. I'm aware that December is a busy time for many, many people, so there are NO RULES and NO EXPECTATIONS for this challenge. You can do as many or as few prompts in whatever way you like! Playing around with my Carrion Chica concept for the first time in a few years, and toned down her heavy industrial elements for more of a rotten nightmare/zombified aesthetic. I think I prefer her old dieselpunk look, but I do love drawing scary chickens anyway. :}
