✎ — “Who said Heather had to eat them?”

Maybe Veronica was being too reckless when it came to sneaking in the candy, though it could be probably calked up to she didn’t understand just how strict Chandler was when it came to her rules. She didn’t really care right now anyway, what was the harm in sweets? Maybe JD had begun to have too much of a bad influence on her, after all.

“Uh, yeah! We probably will. More for the guests, and us.” The brunette had chuckled, the smile not leaving her lips.

Even from the little that Veronica knew about the actual party planning, she kept hearing it would be a good time. Why not have candy thrown into the mix? Veronica saw no reason to not to. Chandler didn’t have to touch them if she didn’t want to. She could admit the candy was mostly for herself, though. It was just a simple house party from what she gathered. anyway, there was always room for improvising.

❀   〖       She    questions   the   other   ,   raising    a    brow   as   she   dumps   the   candy   in   the   cart.    Mcnamara   had   been   so   pre  -   occupied   with   just   getting   general   snacks   that   she’d   barely   noticed   when  Veronica   would   sneak   in   a   few   snicker   bars   or   a   bag   of   M&M’s.   But   eventually   she   caught   her   with   the   gummy   bears –  &   noticed   the   sheer  amount   of   sweets   that   accompanied   the   stuff   Chandler   had   asked   her   to   get.      〗 

  ❀    〖        Heather   was   really   strict   with   her   rules ,  she   knew   that  ,   so   this   was   gonna   be   a   big   risk   for   her.   But  ,  looking   amongst   the   bags   of   corn   nuts   &   other   things   she’d   been   asked   to   get ,   she   frowns.   How   come  all   of   them   got   the   fun   stuff ,  but   she   didn’t   ?     She   pauses   for   a   moment ,  before   grabbing   a   box   of   nerds   &   putting   them   into   the   cart.    If   Veronica’s   gonna   get   away   with  it ,   so   will   she.   〗

✎ — Veronica’s half-hearted note taking in class had been interrupted by Macnamara passing her the note. She had looked over at the blonde, who seemed to already have her attention back on the teacher. Her gaze then went back to the note, and after reading it? She found it somewhat… harsh, and the somewhat threat hadn’t gone unnoticed. Though, she was right. Any plans she had with Martha had fallen through, and she was reluctant to speak to her after Chandler had forced to forge the note from Ram.

After trying to tear a sheet of paper to write a response note as quiet as possible, she wrote a short paragraph in response.

‘sure, why not? i assume we’ll meet up after classes? (ps, don’t worry chandler and duke won’t know a thing.) -veronica.’

She passed the note to the other and had gone back to her note taking. // nonverbal starters. // @prepshine.

✎ — It had been a hard adjustment in joining the Heathers, despite how excited she had been about it. Chandler was, well, Chandler. Duke was decent, she guessed. MacNamara had been the nicest out of all of them. Though, for the Heathers that wasn’t saying much.

Speaking of MacNamara however, the two of them had been sent on an errand for Chandler. Something about her upcoming party. Mac (could she call her Mac?) knew more about it then she did. It didn’t stop her from silently picking up candy when her back was turned in the grocery store. Eventually though, the other had seen her as she tried to sneak some gummy bears into the cart.

“We need these, promise.” She gives a smile, as she dumps them into the cart.
