I dance in my seat. I sing when I'm alone. I'm weird and I know it. I am over dramatic. I obsess over my hair. I obsess over boys. I obsess over how I look. I am self concious. I am confident in who I am. I can be having a good day or a bad. I can be exciting or boring. I can be the best thing in your life or the worst. I like to write. I like to take pictures. I like to hang out with my friends. I like to dance. I like to goof around. But no matter who I am or what I like or how confident I am all I want is for a guy to turn to his friends and say he thinks I'm gorgeous. It's never happened to me. It's all I want.

During the act of reading engaging fiction, we can lose all sense of time. By the final chapter of the right book, we feel changed in our own lives, even if what we’ve read is entirely made up. Research says that’s because while you’re engaged in fiction—unlike nonfiction—you’re given a safe arena to experience emotions without the need for self-protection. Since the events you’re reading about do not follow you into your own life, you can feel strong emotions freely. […] The key metric the researchers used is “emotionally transported,” or how deeply connected we are to the story. Previous research has shown that when we read stories about people experiencing specific emotions or events it triggers activity in our brains as if we were right there in the thick of the action.
New study by Dutch researchers confirms previous theories that reading fiction makes you a better person by expanding your capacity for empathy.
Also see how storytelling makes us human.

My Daily Struggle
I love people. I hate people. I love being social. Get out of my face. People are wonderful. You all suck. Nobody's perfect. Get a better personality.

This Is How My Day Is. All Day, Every Day
When someone says One Direction

When I find out they like One Direction

When they tell me something I already know, but fangirl anyway because it’s always fangirl worthy

And then the bitch says ‘Neil’ and ‘Lewis’…

What I end saying to them

All Day, Every Day
