About Diana Karapetyan

At the time of my birth, though the weather outside was freezingly frigid, unbeknownst me then, within the private chamber of my being, the striking of a wonderous match occurred that kindled a warming flame that would later spread to inflame a passion for painting as my means of celebrating and applauding the truly miraculous and endless sights upon this wonderous planet. When I’m painting, I look upon the colors on my pallet as a choir of voices that I wish to speak to those who view my paintings in saying here is a vision from the beauty and wisdom of life on Earth that I am enchanting you to experience, in hope that when you turn away, you will linger in its inviting adventure as my gift to sharing the collection of my cherishments. Though the confined space of a canvas is limited, the images that it embraces is much like the view through the tiny lens of an astronomer’s telescope, in which the spectacle of the universe is miniaturized—but the magnificent sight of its firmament becomes boundless in its blossom.
