Rufus: (thinking quietly) I don't fucking know.. like.. Tyler the Creator is on my top listens, MSI used to be up there until the allegations, Sir Mix-A-Lot, Kendrick Lamar's old songs.. shit like that

Valentino: (going crazy in a corner) Well, if you had a call at 12 am telling you that you would die in the next 24 hours, would you sit and contemplate? No? Me neither!

Orion: (looking at Valentino) ...dont mind him. I did, and for a while it sounded like a coherent thought. We still don't know how Deathcast works, but thinking about it in that sense might just cause more chaos. After all, it's hard to make everyone's mindset switch.

Valentino: (Happily ranting) What type of pancakes? What type of waffles? Ah, there’s so many to chose, but which one is better? I don’t know, it depends on the brand. Or the flavor. Maybe even what state you get it from. In Arizona-

Orion: (talking as Valentino fades into the background) I like waffles. Preferably Belgian waffles from the city. It pairs well with their hot chocolate.

Mateo: (fidgeting with his fingers) I wouldn’t really know what to say. Maybe a sarcastic “I love you” to either the president or even God. Maybe I would just not speak.. ah.

Rufus: (serious) To the president, give us our rights back.

Orion: (putting down his pen) If I could speak to god, or any god, I would ask for my parents back. Or even just asking them if being gay is really against the Bible. It’d be funny if it was.

Valentino: (hugging Orion from behind) A person in power? …hm. I would tell my parents how happy I was after moving away from them. Everything, maybe. I don’t need them anymore, even if it hurts.

Lydia: (sitting down with a hum) If I could talk to the president, or a person in power, I would probably do the same as Rufus. I’d like rights, thank you.

Dalma: (raising an eyebrow) Give people and women equal pay as men do. That’s what I would tell ‘em.

How would you feel if you were granted immortality instead of knowing you will die. Is that worse or better?

(Mainly to Rufus and Mateo..I forgot what happened in the prequel lmao)

Rufus: If I was granted immortality instead of dying, I don’t think I’d ever met Mateo. The way my life was going before I met him, I think it’d be worse.

Mateo: (contemplating) If I was granted immortality, I would maybe like it. I would have more time with my dad, with Lidia, and with the people I love. I think if I was immortal, my dad would be okay. I’d like that.

Orion, where do you get your inspiration usually?

Orion: (sitting down at his desk) Before I met Valentino, I usually got inspired by my own issues and problems, stories I hear from strangers or passersby, or things of the sort.

(Putting down his pen) Even after Valentino, I still do those same things, but sometimes I write about him now. It's.. nice actually.

to mateo: outside of giving kendrick ur shoes, did u guys ever talk besides that day? (like at school or other places?)

Mateo: (building a small treehouse with lego) After I gave Kendrick my shoes the year before, I don't think we ever talked after that. I would see him at school, staring down my back sometimes? The last time I saw him was with Peck, and I don't think we've ever talked since that day. It would've been nice to ask him how his mom was doing.

does rufus smoke pot or anything like that? (just curious) and if so, is mateo cool w it?

Rufus: I used to smoke twenty packs a day. It was a low point in my life and I just needed an escape. I eventually told this to Mateo and he immediately told me to stop. I haven’t smoked since.

Mateo: Yeah.. I wasn’t okay with that. I’m glad he stopped. It’s not a good addiction to have.

Is there something you hate? In y'all relionthiships? It could be an habit of them or something small, like how your glasses can get in the way of kissing :)

Orion: I hate that Valentino always gets up so early. And he’s never quiet about it either. I can always tell when he leaves our cuddling session.

Valentino: Oh really? I can’t have time for the bathroom? Anyway.. I hate that Orion stays up so late after a rough night. Go to sleep!

(The both of them grumbled before completely making out after this.)

Rufus: I recently bought Mateo a little lego set as a date idea. I keep stepping on stupid little lego pieces. I swear I’m gonna.. (incoherent mad mumbling)

Mateo: (glaring) Well, I hate when Rufus just curses out randomly. Sometimes he won’t even tell me why. I’ll have him lying down on my lap and he’ll just say, “Shit!” and not elaborate.

(The both of them glanced at each other and laughed it off right after this.)

Mateo: (thinking about it) Y'know, I don't really care for things such as sex since it's sort of never on my mind. If Rufus ever asked, hm, I'd probably be open to it. Maybe asexuality is for me? I'll look more into it. (smiling)

Mateo: (trying to make a Lego treehouse) My favorite thing about dating Rufus? A lot, honestly, but I guess.. I feel like I can do everything and anything with him. I could never live my life, I never lived, but with Rufus? I did so many things. He helps me in my confidence.

Rufus: (secretly taking a picture of Mateo as he builds) Eh? I love the way he's so kind and compassionate. After he buried that baby bird when we first met, that time he helped me with water, or how he unconditionally loves Penny and Lidia, how could I not love that? He's everything to me, man.
