A few weeks ago I read @ludi-ling 's story for Rogue and Gambit week (entitled "You risk tears if you let yourself be tamed" on Ao3) and I couldn't get the idea of Gambit reading The Little Prince to his kid(s) out of my head. So here we are. 💚💜 (Also Gambit would be the cutest dad)

That’s what I ask myself every single day.

My mother the most loving, selfless person I know is now fighting for her life. She underwent surgery just days ago, and her condition is fragile. Doctors say she urgently needs treatment abroad, but we can’t afford it. We can barely manage food and basic medicine.

I’ve done everything I can. I’ve tried to be strong. But no matter how hard I fight, I can’t do this alone.

Please… imagine for a moment that this was your mother lying in pain, looking at you with eyes full of hope, waiting for help you can’t give. How would that feel?

I’m not asking for much , just for a chance to save her. A small act of kindness from you might be the reason she survives.
