Connor tried not to lose her impatience with this dude and kept the kind smile plastered on her face. “We’re making a memorial for the victims and using to funds to support those affected by the Director. It’s a pretty big deal.” Her eyes lit up when she saw his wallet and spoke up again. “If you pitch in more than three hundred dollars you get a free hoodie.”
Drew nodded thoughtfully, considering everything that had happened already and then decided that he would donate. He perked up at the mention of a free sweater and replied, “Sounds great! Just give me a second.” When counting the bills, his eyes confused the hundreds for tens so he accidentally handed her 3k instead of 300.

Upon hearing the boy’s voice call to her, she sighed heavily and stopped in her tracks. The Ryerson girl didn’t want to see anyone right about now, but if anyone was going to find her at this low she was glad it was at least Drew. He was the king of drunken party decisions, so at least he’d take pity on her. She turned on the balls of her feet to face him, arms trying to cover her exposed chest, “Yeah uh… last night was… wild.” The moment Atropa had yoted their wine bottle at her replayed in her head. “I’m currently kind of homeless… I guess I deserve it though.” she had to laugh or else she’d start bawling once more, “Oh um I don’t want to impose on you or your boyfr- I mean Bri. Your Bri. Yeah, that’s what I meant.”
Drew smiled for a moment, understanding the wildness of a good party. Things tended to get out of hand - it was an occurrence that he was far too used to. “Yeah, that was extra bad. And I only really remember half of it, but you’re here in the park so I can make guesses?” he said. “Homeless? That sucks,” he frowned, feeling bad for her but unsure of what else to say. “What? Oh sorry, I actually gotta gay - I mean go! I gotta go.”

“Right, of course, you weren’t.” She looked between the two of them and rolled her eyes. “Whatever, I don’t care.” With a shrug, Eva went to turn around before pausing, looking back at him. “You might want to work on that. I don’t think you’re girlf-fiancee would be super pleased that you apparently keep forgetting you’re engaged.”
“Yeah,” he said awkwardly, turning back to the work that he was supposed to be doing. “Oh uh - it’s not that I’m forgetting it’s just uh, a slip of tongue.” He definitely couldn’t forget that they were engaged, even if at times he wanted to. “But thanks for the advice?”

Angelica was never left tongue-tied. It was almost impossible to get her to keep quiet, considering how much she was always babbling. Yet, he seemed to easily have perfected the skill to get her to shut up by his mere looks alone. ❝ C-carry me? ❞ Was she stuttering? She was stuttering. ❝ I.. Don’t you think I’ll be a little heavy for you? I mean, not that I think you couldn’t, but you’re on skates.. ❞ Although, Alexandrew carrying her would be a dream come true.
He nodded while grinning slightly at her sudden stutter - was he really making her that nervous? It was actually kind of disconcerting. “Yeah? I mean if you don’t want me to, just say so.” He shrugged and then laughed at her question. “I never skip leg day or arm day,” he joked, pausing to flex dramatically.

Connor was hanging by a tree smoking a cigarette on the down low as people rushed to and from classes, her eyes following each person who passed her by until she spotted the perfect target. She threw her cig on the ground and stomped on it before hurrying over to them and putting a hand on their shoulder to get their attention. “Hey, you look like you could spare some cash for a good cause. Mind donating some of it to the Levins Project? It goes to those affected by the Director and helps them during these hard times.” She feigned the perfect pitiful face for the act, one of Connor’s few talents that she was proud of.
Drew was late for class, a reminder of why you shouldn’t stay up drinking til 3am on a night before early morning classes. “Uh, okay. Sounds cool - wait how does this money go towards the whatever?” he asked, only having half-listened to what she was saying. He was already reaching into his wallet though, willing to give her money if only to get to class without being totally late.

Bri usually was never one to show weakness, always had to be playing the games that her mother had taught her to play. Except she had just lost someone that she had held very close to heart, even if she never showed it. She needed human contact, a caring touch. She managed a tiny smile at Drew’s words. “Sorry…” she whispered to him softly as she moved closer to him, closing her eyes as she tucked her face into his shoulder. “I- I think I’m okay…” she told him, though her voice shook. “I just- I don’t want to be alone.”
Drew wrapped his arms around, running hands gently through her hair as he tried to be comforting to her. “Don’t apologize,” he whispered, truly wanting her to feel safe coming to her. “I won’t leave you alone, promise,” he said and for a moment he could almost imagine everything working out, them being together and at least being content; Bri deserved to be happy. And instead she was being tormented alongside everyone else - it was fucked up. “It’s okay to not be okay, you know with everything.”

After Lily got up, she brushed off the snow from her skirt. she noticed a hole in her tights – likely from the fall. As she offered her hand, she noticed the boy leaning in the snow which caused her to frown. Lily thought it would be nice to let loose and go along. “ but, tinman ! ” she placed her hands to her chest. “ you need your heart ! ” her voice was exaggerated. “ don’t make me leave you ! ”
The frown on her face, and the fact that she had decided to play along caused a giggle to escape his lips, and his hand moved to hover over his chest. “It is better to live without a heart than to live through heartbreak, Dorothy. You must go on,” he said before dramatically collapsing into the snow without a snow.

@killerquccns ( karley )
running off a hangover was impossible - that didn’t stop drew from trying to though. at least running allowed him time to think about the chaos that was threatening to take over his life - until he spotted that detective girl still wandering about in last night’s costume. “karley, man are you okay? do you need somewhere to stay after last night - or what’s up?”

@noschuylersister ‘ Hey, i’ve got you. it’s okay. ’
drew’s thoughts were overwhelmed with anxiety - thoughts of what the director would do next mixed with the dread that had long been bubbling regarding his impending wedding. eventually it all became to much leading to drew leaning against the wall and allowing himself to break for a moment. the voice had been unexpected and he turned away from it, shame in every movement. “no, i’m okay,” he said, feeling as though he had to be stronger than this.

@brixsinclair “ stay with me tonight? ”
there was fear, panic, and pain that was threatening to destroy the campus, and drew would be naive to not see all of it in bri’s eyes. “well you know i don’t believe in cuddling before marriage,” he joked slightly before laying next down to her. “if you need to cry, i’m here.”

@evaxlarsen “stop staring at me like that”
drew could understand how one would think that he had been staring at her, but the truth was that kyle had been walking behind her, goofing off. “i wasn’t staring at you, i swear!” he defended, voice a little louder than necessary before he continued in a softer but still defensive tone, “i have a girlf-fiancee, and she was walking behind you - looking totally hot.” and that was an awkward lie, he needed to work on that.

Lily was seemingly in her head this entire day – no matter what she did or focused on, she could not stay in the moment. she didn’t blame herself, however ; there WAS a psycho on the loose. Lily couldn’t help but think … when will her time be? “ oof ! ” before she knew it, she was on the cold ground. “ oh, I’m sorry, I wasn’t paying attention at all … . are you okay? ”
Drew could feel the snow melting against his legs, and knew that his pants were going to be soaked regardless of what he did. “S okay,” he mumbled, leaning forward into the snow and allowing his cheek to dig into the cold ice that laid below. “Go on without me dorothy, get to the wizard!”

“hey thanks, but that’s not necessary,” a sheepish smile spread across claire’s face. “life sucks, but it’ll suck more if we fail our finals. c’mon, this was meant to be a study date, not a therapy session!” with that, claire patted drew on the shoulder and pulled out her notes, settling in for a day of hard work procrastination.
“please don’t even joke about that - i think i would die,” he groaned, flipping his textbook open barely restraining himself from slamming his head into the pages when he saw the complicated diagrams. “is it too late to switch majors?” picking up a pen, he began to idly click it in and out.
