Pray in silence and cry heavily if you must. For our tears are filled with unspoken words only God can understand.

Jesus said, “I stand at the door and knock. If you hear My voice and open the door, I will come in and eat with you, and you with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)
The Lord knows everything you have done, your repeated failures, your shame and your suffering. No matter what you have done, God wants you. He doesn’t want anything from you. He just wants you. All you have to do is throw off your pride, admit that you have sinned and give yourself to Him. He is not going to condemn you or accuse you.
God is able to save you, restore you completely and give you a fresh start. However badly you have messed up, He is able to save completely. You are His child.
Remember the story of the prodigal son (Luke 15:11-32), how the Father was waiting for His son to return? While the son was a long way off, He ran to him, hugged him, kissed him, clothed him, put a ring on his finger, sandals on his feet and gave a grand banquet to celebrate his return.
That is the Father heart of God. He wants you to return. He will meet you more than half way. He will teach you to take the next step and the next. Would you go back to Him today!

God knows everything about you. He knows every thought you think. Before a word is on your tongue He knows it all. Psalm 139:4
Our Heavenly Father knows us so well. Isn’t it comforting to know that God loves us enough to know us. When you tell Him the deepest matters of your heart, He is right there listening to you. Just when you’re struggling to get the words out, He knows exactly what you couldn’t quite say. Words may fail us. But He perfectly understands what we are going through. He looks past our words into our hearts. The deep hurts, the pain, the brokenness is known to Him. Would you trust Him with all the broken pieces of your life?

Christianity is not about taking the moral high ground, and thanking God that we aren’t horrible sinners like the rest of the world.
In fact, it’s quite the opposite.
Becoming a follower of Christ means becoming more aware of our failures, and of how we fall short of God’s holy standard. It’s a life of acknowledging that we can’t get to heaven on our own, and giving our lives to the only one who can make us righteous before God.
It’s when we do this that, while we don’t become lights of the world, we are able to point to the one who is.
His light fills us to the brim, to the point where we run over. This is how Jesus continues to shine his light in this dark world, through his children.
We are not the light, but are called to be witnesses of the light. We are called to carry out the deeds of our Father in the light, because he is the light. What is done in the light, cannot be done in darkness.
This means that we must live holy, as he is holy. We must let his light shine in this world, because it desperately needs to hear his message. This world of darkness must be lit up with the fire of the Holy Spirit.
The Christian life is a life of imitating Christ the Lord. His love that he has shown us both on the cross, and in how he lived his life, demands a life long response. It’s through our humbleness before him that we become the lanterns of the Holy Spirit to shine in this world of darkness and decay.
The Christian life is not a life of perfection or self righteousness, but a life of constant repentance and humility before the Lord. It’s acknowledging the futility of trying to be righteous in our own, and letting his righteousness flow through us.
We can’t let the light shine if we dim it with the mask of our self righteousness. God is trying to call those around us to himself, not to his to servants.
It’s through Christ we are saved, not ourselves or our works.
Let’s start acting like it.
God bless, Jesus loves you ✝️❤️

Romans 12:2 ESV Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
John 17:15-18 ESV I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one. They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth. As you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world.

Psalm 46:9-10 NLT 9 He causes wars to end throughout the earth.     He breaks the bow and snaps the spear;     he burns the shields with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God!     I will be honored by every nation.     I will be honored throughout the world.”

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13
We can draw such comfort from these words! All loneliness, all fear is washed away when you know that the Creator God is with you even in the most terrifying of life's situations. The wind and the waves obey Jesus. He is the Lord over them all. Who is man that He is mindful of. He promises to hold us and help us out of this devastating storm. Why are you downcast O my soul. Your Heavenly Father is on your side. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
