The troll stared down at the soundboard. Velvet was in the recording booth doing a solo. She was holding the diamond with Floyd in it. "It's not a talent. I wanted to introduce you. You said you wanted him to hear him sing."

Tears make a track down her cheeks as she hears Floyd yell out in pain again. "You lied to me. You made me lie to him."

Branch wasn't okay. It was very obvious every time he looked at himself in the reflection of the diamond. Coated with a purple tinge and losing color quickly.

The worst part had started with Velvet's last aggressive spritizing. He looked down at his hands and could see right through them to the bottle. They were crystalizing.

A slightly hysterical laugh left his mouth as tears started down his face. He was dying. At this rate he estimated that he would be expired in days.

"I'm going to die." The words left his mouth before he really thought about them. He didn't want to die. Not now when he finally had things to live for. "They're going to drain me dry."

A deep breath and then he is looking up at the other troll. "We gotta get you out of here before I do. So they don't do the same to you."

Despite his concerns, Boyd couldn't help but laugh with delight at the other boy's urging. "Cloud kicking does sound fun," he agreed. "But I'm not so sure how safe it'd be to use my rockets as a speed boost. I don't want you to get hurt!"

The troll blinked at the much larger creature. But this wouldn't be the first time she had taught others to sing even though she couldn't do it herself. "Okay. I can work with that. What are your goals uhm...Miss? Do you know what you want your range to be?"

@decanard asked: "Who are you? What do you want?" (crimp @ velvet)

Such indifference was met with an offended scoff from Velvet. "Um, ex-squeeze you! What do you mean 'who am I' and 'what do I want?' You've gotta get your eyes checked if you really can't recognize a star in the making~!"

She made a motion to wave her away. "Or go get them checked anyway, they're full of unfulfillment and sadness and it's totes bumming me out."
