The thing that fucks me up every time is when I'm struck with the realization that I'm seeing a character differentky than the creator. And I see the reflection of the athorial intent in the fanbase and... They are clearly on the same page, but not me. This inescapable feeling of wrongness, of me making a misstep of some kind. The crime of making connections nobody gets but me, so am I missing context, am I misinterpreting? Why it feels like such a crime for me to divert from the canon?

I know that the right answer to that is to ask yourself "but are you having fun?" and truly... I don't know.

honestly hearing that joel makes his intros LAST in his videos makes a lot of sense. both logically and in his case specifically because oh yeah you wanna know what you introduce Wrong he is going insane after gigantic fucking mega projects. like if i spent hours and hours of my life building the next sistine chapel in minecraft i too would make my intros incredibly strange and concerning. i would deserve to let people know im going insane after i went insane doing all that work. carry on mr. shadowlady
