I forgot in the game grovyle is a regular pokemon but I still like the concept of grovyle being a human and a disguise. As much as I want to play with the main story, I could just make them regular explorers. Or maybe not have the pokemon be au versions and let them be their own person.

I’ve been wanting to replay sky but haven’t had the time and I wanted to scribble some general ideas down. Not sure how far I’ll go since I’m not in the pmd mood (uma musume has taken over me but I still want to draw my silly splatoon boys)

Rambling under the cut

I can’t see Leo and Fisher as first stage so they are fully evolved two stage pokemon. I had a rough time figuring out what to do with grovyle. Turning grovyle into a zoroark was the best I could come up with as it fits with Grim’s character.

Leo is the hero, a Lucario who was human and lost his memories. He has an extra appendage on his head, making 6 instead of the usual four. He doesn’t have proper control of his aura reading. In overcrowded spaces, he would get overwhelmed and occasionally lose control of himself. It often results in a nosebleed. We love nosebleed is a consequence with power.

Fisher is the partner, a Pyroar with no memory who decided to learn about his secret relic on his own. He has no memory of obtaining it. He believes that if he can find its origin, he would something about his past self.

Grim is a Zoroark disguised as a grovyle to steal time gears. He was once human and came from the future alongside Leo. His eyes are sensitive to light so he wears a fly mask. He doesn’t have the usual purple fur a regular shiny has, instead he retained the blue color of shiny zorua.
