Some very rough ideas I needed to take out of my mind. Hakuryuu and Kougyoku, both performing their djinn equip.
I’ve been trying many different ways to develop my process and this time I decided to sketch the illumination before adding the colors. That’s because sometimes I feel like I’m lost, not knowing where to paint light and dark areas correctly.
I have already tried to paint everything in grayscale first and only add the colors in the end, but it seems like my brain doesn’t really work this way… xD So maybe just a quick sketch for reference can help me, I hope!
