We've received a few emails from artists wondering about the two author signup. Apologies for not sending out an email ahead of time to explain.

We've had a handful of artists drop from the fest. It was part of the reason we didn't open up to the public for Christmas, and in trying to include more people, we found a snag in the system. If artists drop out, we have authors without an illustration. And vice versa.

Both I and one other artist picked up an additional illustration to make up for it, but then another artist had to leave the fest. In order to keep from booting authors from the fest entirely, we opened up additional slots.

This in no way affects you or your illustration. All we would hope for is that you would share an additional link and enjoy an extra story on your piece.  You don't need to alter your piece for two stories; you don't need to draw two pieces; you don't need to interact with anyone but me and Kyo.

If for any reason, you are unable or unwilling to have two authors write for your piece, just shout! We will work out a solution.
