No matter if you decide to see Shawmila as besties, as one brotherly-sisterly bond, as lovers or whatever; there's no denying that from the get-go their respective labels & teams have profited from that relationship. It doesn't make their actual friendship any less true or any less worthy but it's always been about the $$$ for the #people managing them. #They know perfectly no matter how many times they put those two on camera, for #them it will always be a great investment.

To quickly exemplify, back in the day when the Mexican film production was at its golden age between the the 30s & the 60s, producers would have the big names of the screen being paired up. That's how it would always go, having the two most renowned actors of the moment work in duos. Of course that many years meant a lot of different couples since once a star reaches its peak when it comes to hype, that's just it, & someone new will come. But anyway the main point is that regardless of how many times they would pull up that stunt it wouldn't matter if it was an old tactic because they knew how much the respective film would sell. Because they knew how much it would mean to market them together. Things haven't changed a bit. The showbiz people know money when they see it & there's just that.

Plus they're attempting to kill two birds with one stone like emisonme explained...

We're talking about an industry that chooses to award straight actors for playing LGBT characters while keeping a long queue of real LGBT actors waiting to land their first real opportunity at a casting.

To anyone that continues to check on my blog, I know I wasn't around here for most part of this year, however it doesn't mean I didn't have many things to discuss about. I'm sorry, I simply couldn't organise enough to find the time to finish all those posts I've been meaning to share with you guys. Hoping that this upcoming year I get the opportunity to put them out there. Hoping that the girls receive as many blessings in 2019 with their solo careers. I guess we can agree this year was full of meetings & planning for each one of them so let's see what they have in store for us & pray for the best. Happy New Year Everyone! 🍾

It's been two years but still till this day we shouldn't forget. The girls were obliged to remain silent while the world would paint them in such a misjudged way.

NEVER FORGET…

Never forget the hug Mani & Dinah exchanged before the last OT5 show. Never forget Dinah had to ask Mani to stop tearing up.

Never forget how a fan encountered Dinah the day after saying she was completely torn. Her cousin also had to ask for no pics.

Never forget how Dinah’s aunt said that same day on a livestream that Lauren must have been heartbroken & crying her brain out.

Never forget how days after one of the fans that had a special Christmas dinner with Ally said they asked her about Camila leaving & she responded in a blue tone with: “I really don’t want to talk about it right now…”

Never forget how Normani described the process as being “a devastating time & taking it day by day” yet certain stans didn’t believe her even when in other occasions she had acknowledged Camila post-split in a positive way when she didn’t have to: “I met four beautiful girls”/ “In the beginning we were five girls with a dream”.

The thing is that those girls obviously went through it at some point. They weren’t indifferent towards the situation as much as certain stans believe so. To say that “they couldn’t care less about her leaving” is selfish cause NO ONE, absolutely no one— not even the most heartless being or the most fucked up marriage— after spending almost five years with someone else & then having to part ways could remain stone cold.

We’ve got the proofs that for Normani, Ally, Lauren & Dinah wasn’t easy to watch Camila walk away, yet some people are out there trying to convince themselves that they were the bandmates that felt nothing. As much as they want them to be monsters, the vulnerability surrounding all that situation WAS there regardless. To claim that those girls didn’t give a bloody damn about losing a member it’s not only one big misconception, it’s unfair & it must not be forgotten cause the girls did cry (hell probably more than we can imagine). Not because we couldn’t see proper tears & swollen eyes it doesn’t mean feelings weren’t there. Not because we couldn’t get to read emotional tweets instead whack ass iPhone notes written by professional publicists & social media managers, doesn’t mean they didn’t have something to say about it. These people trying to erase this saddening moment in their careers & personal lives want them so bad to be robots when beyond their image, their team, the interviews, the headlines, the media, the narrative… Beyond everything they’re HUMANS.

No matter what happens, remember what we've learned so far. People over Twitter are going to overthink shit, make drama & all that jazz. Don't follow any of this. Don't try to fight them or to say the least, try to "educate" them on how the industry operates. They think they know how it works because it makes more "credible" the narrative they've swallowed. Like another thing we've learned, some of them (bots) are there to fulfill that exact function, which is confuse. Lauren liked the other day on IG: "If you can't convince them, confuse them".

The award shows are structured to generate headlines, massively. That's it.

P.S. Always remember all celebrities are an IMAGE-BRAND before anything, it should never come as a surprise the vast majority get treated like such by their teams instead of being treated like artists/talents. This latter, is an aspect that’s prominent among the millenial figures which a lot of outsiders (GP & stan twitter) tend to often forget. The reason is given, they were all very young when they signed so deceiving them into falling to their own pit was as easy as fooling a kid who gets promised a big bunch of toys only to get played by the adults.

Stans out there beefing over the TCAs & which girl shall they vote over, when Shane Dawson & a bunch of other people have exposed the event for being a hoax & nothing else than a hoax.

You can try to split the votes or root for your fav but EITHER way it’s rigged. Sorry to break it to you, but voting is a blatant waste of time, sure it’s a way to demonstrate how much you appreciate your fav, but other than that it’s a contribution to #their (the people that run the show) ultimate goal... VIEWS. In Shane’s words: “#They want all the youtubers to get all their fans to VOTE AND VOTE AND VOTE AND VOTE to get traffic to their fucking website”.

IT’S THE ABSOLUTE SAME WHEN IT COMES TO THE SINGERS & ACTORS CATEGORIES. Please don’t believe otherwise, don’t be gullible.

The girls’ stans are really choosing to forget about this by having their Dory memory & usual pettiness taking over... but what’s new tbh. Not to mention, those fans feuds are contributing to #their goal even more.

Honestly, why do you think lately awards how have decided to include k-pop fans into their votings? Because they care? NO! K-pop it’s a massive phenomenon with giant waves of stans & I don’t need to go deeper into it for you to understand the main point. #They don’t give a bloody damn about any fanbase out there, whether it’s from a western act or from an act across the seas. Once again... Voting equals GIVING FREE PROMO TO THE SHOW.

If we keep steady streaming numbers, we could climb the charts somewhat. Let’s do this for Normani, Lauren, Ally & Dinah. They’ve worked so hard, they earned it. We can prove Epic wrong, like we’ve done in the past.

Even if you don’t feel like listening to the song on repeat, you can always plug in your headphones, turn on US IP (DON’T FORGET THIS OR IT WON’T COUNT) & leave it on loop. Also, don’t mute it while playing, it doesn’t count either.

It’s simple… Stream the video, stream the song on Spotify, request on radios. Doesn’t take much of your time to do at least one of these & it’s DOES HELP. Every person streaming COUNTS. Don’t wait for others to put in work, don’t wait for the song to prosper on it’s own. 5H: A RESILIENT BAND

As much as we all agree that Fifth Harmony could have been a lot more than what we were sold & the waste of massive potential that the label developed through all these years... I want to take this space to applaud everything the girls accomplished. It's highly important to acknowledge their achievements while there were uncountable obstacles in the way. At an industry that's not designed for girlgroups, it must be recognised that all those fights the girls gave in return against those odds, it's more than just a force to be reckoned with... Jesus Christ, the respect I have them for that, it's indescribable & nothing will ever make it go away. I make Normani's words mine: "We are resilient as hell".

Funny that people are quickly to judge: "Fifth Harmony last era flopped"... The thing is, no other artist would have lasted as much as they did on the circumstances they were surrounded by & THAT IS BY FAR ONE OF THEIR BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS AS A GROUP. So the term "admiration" doesn't even come close to express the way I feel towards them. @ Fifth Harmony thank you for trying & for accomplishing so much more in the process.
