William Burke’s Skin Pocket Book
When the notorious murderer, William Burke, was found guilty and hanged in 1829, his body was publicly dissected in the University of Edinburgh’s medical school, and his skeleton still hangs there for students to observe. His skin was made into various items, including this pocket book. The pocket book is currently on display in the Surgeons’ Hall Museum [Edinburgh].

By this point, I've either gone mad or he's been killed.

When I'm not asleep, I'm high.

Where is everyone?
They've vanished. Completely.
Rumours of the undead continue to circulate, though there's not enough evidence. I have not brought my own incident to the eyes of Lestrade or my brother for fear of either dismissal or skepticism.
That, and I can't seem to contact them.
I've also dropped about thirty pounds between my little problem and a general lack of enthusiasm to do anything, including eat.
