The Canaries are so funny because it genuinely took me a minute to figure out what this image even was. It’s a genderbend. THEY LOOK IDENTICAL 😭

if you’re a white creator and your brown/black characters are always sassy, reckless, aggressive or cold and your white characters are always soft, demure, shy and introverted you should think about maybe why you did that

Its important to look back on your own amateurish art without like, bullying others about being in that stage.

observation: among a certain subset of tumblr users, the term “blorbo” has become unchic, but the concept it describes is still important; and so it has been replaced with “The Character”

The best tragedies will have you thinking "I wish it could've gone any other way" and "this is the only way it could've ended" at the same time

thinking about what the average kirin could look like (second image is closer to what i have in mind)
currently thinking that kirin are adult drakes that were raised without a dragon’s presence. they transform as they age into a more unicorn-like shape. while they do still have the ability to switch between 2 different forms, they are similar in power to one another rather than having a high power and a low power form like regular drakes do.
non-final lore and images of course. i need to think on them more

I'm slowly assigning Pokémon to my babies (ocs). So far we've got
Ebony and Audino: she works at a Pokémon Center and Audino is her helping hand (ahah get it because Audino learns-). Ebony didn't like her much at first, but she grows on her and they'll unlock the power of Mega Evolution :)
Thek-3 and Smeargle: he kidnapped him from an art museum. I'm serious. This Smeargle produces black paint so he's pretty rare too. Now he can be as emo as ever with Thek. So far he's got a choker. He's already too powerful. Good heavens if they make him learn Dark Void...
Tango and Vanillite: Tango runs an ice-cream parlour so it's the perfect companion. Is it creepy for Vanillite to watch people buy and eat food vaguely shaped like it? They sell ice-cream shaped EXACTLY like it in Castelia so I guess it's not that weird
Fahrenheit and Blitzle: a gift from yours truly for my babygirl. Fahr runs on electricity... Has stripes on his chassis... Is mostly black and yellow... Blitzle is an Electric type who turns black and yellow when it lights up... Fair enough. Blitzle loves kicking Fahr in the shins and make him fall. "He's a robot that shouldn't cause him much pain" yeah unfortunately Blitzle uses Double Kick for that. He's a little rascal
