I wanted to say IDW Sonic has been an absolute delight to get caught up on! I appreciate the work everyone has put into it. Over the time you've spent working on IDW Sonic, what is something you're grateful to have learned?

I know this might be obvious to some but I’m grateful to have learned is that there are people who care about your well being. It’s always ok when things get too hard for you and you can rely on others to help you get your work done.

On that note, I’m very thankful to be surrounded by caring folk I’m proud to call my friends. Tearing up a little writing this lol

Have you thought about doing commissions? I'm sure many fans would like to have their OC drawn by someone so talented, maybe in TMOSTH style.

I used to do commissions but lately I haven’t had time to open them back up. I’ll let you all know when I do though!

Hallo!! I'm a big fan of your work, your artstyle is literally eye candy. I love the neat line works in your art your colouring style!

Correct me if I'm wrong but the style in which you drew Sonic in TMOSTH is different from how you draw Sonic (and sonic characters in general) in recent works.

I love both styles and was just wondering if it was a concious choice or just something that developed the longer you drew the characters.

Yeah they’re definitely different! After TMOSTH, I started getting more projects where I thought using a style that’s closer to the in-house style over at Sonic team would fit them well.I’ve gotten used to that style over the past year but I’m still exploring new designs when the time is appropriate.

I will say I probably wouldn’t draw everyone the same as I did back on TMOSTH. I’m always learning and growing while also being conscious of what kind of style fits each story I’m handed.

I noticed for Issue 76 that the solicitation has it for a December release, but Penguin Random House has it slated for February 2025. Is this a mistake from the latter?

So! I know you like Gadget and Barry together. What's your thoughts on Gadget, Barry, AND Infinite together? - signed, an Infidget shipper who likes all three of them together cause it's cute and silly

I think the dynamic is really cute as well! I’m just more inclined to like the badget ship because it feels more tangible to me. Infinite is canonically a major antagonist and he’d prolly stay that way forever. At least with Barry and Gadget I have a chance of putting them side by side casually and just play pretend that they’re together. I’m just a smidgen of a stickler for canon. Just a smidge.

Is Barry actually Non-binary? Seeing how the characters use They/Them when referring to Barry.

Uhhh I think so? I don’t recall if they/them pronouns was meant to be a player thing or them actually being non-binary or both. I’ve just accepted Barry as non-binary anyway and if that could be properly established I’d be so happy (if the other team members agree of course)

What character (From any franchise) do you personally find more fun drawing/sketching?

It’s always gonna be Sonic but aside from that I guess Klonoa (talking about klonoa 1 klonoa)

lol not really. My username was just a suggestion thrown to me by a friend back when I was in high school and I’ve just been using it ever since.
