can't get over julian's breakfast order in inquisition. he asks for "hot buttered scones, moba jam, and red leaf tea," something traditionally british, a native bajoran fruit, and a cardassian beverage. it's a microcosm of who bashir is and how living on the station and the relationships he's formed there have changed him over the past six years and become part of his identity. if someone put this in a fic it would be way too on the nose but in the ep they toss it off like so much background noise
