This. This right here is probably the most meaningful tattoo that I will ever put on my body. It is a permanent, constant, and incredibly important reminder. It is a reminder that no matter how bad of a panic attack I’m having or how deep of a depression I get into, it’s okay. It may not feel like it at the time but it is okay and it will be okay.

To celebrate two years of being self harm clean, I put these beautiful lyrics onto my body forever. @themaineband have been a constant source of light and happiness for the past 7 years. I can control what I do to my body, I can ensure that I show it the love it deserves. I can confront the dark thoughts that have plagued me for the longest time. Thank you to a band who promised that strength will find me sooner than I ever thought it would.
