Help My Family Escape the War in Gaza: A Cry for Safety and Survival

Dear Friends and Supporters,
I write to you with a heart heavy with pain and urgency. My name is Mohammad Jamal Shamia, and I reside in Sweden. I am raising funds to help my family and loved ones, who are trapped in Gaza, escape the unimaginable horrors of war. Their lives have been turned upside down, and now they stand on the brink of despair, with no place to call home and no future in sight. We are fighting for their survival.
A Family Torn Apart by War
My family consists of eight members: my father, my mother, my four sisters, and my two brothers. Each one of them has a story of pain and loss, but I will start with my father, Jamal Shamia, who is still in Gaza. His home was destroyed in the very first days of the war. A single rocket shattered not just his home, but also our hopes and dreams. The life he had worked so hard to build was reduced to rubble in a heartbeat. He now stands without a roof over his head, in a place where there is no security, no peace, and no hope for the future.

My mother, who left Gaza for surgery in Egypt before the war started, is now stranded on the Egyptian side, unable to return and without any support. She worries every day about my father, her children, and grandchildren who remain in Gaza, not knowing if they will survive another day.
Sisters in Crisis: Homes Lost, Lives Disrupted

My sister Rasha Jamal Shamia and her husband, Khalil Abu Samaan, have two children, Mira and Omar. They have been forced to flee their home in Gaza City and are now living in a tent in Rafah, far from everything they once knew. Their home, their children’s education, and their future—everything is gone. Their days are filled with fear, and their nights bring no rest. The constant sound of bombs haunts them, and they have no way to provide their children with the life they deserve.

My sister Rana Jamal Shamia and her husband, Mohammed Salama, are in a similarly desperate situation. Their two children, Amir and Taim, witnessed the destruction of their home firsthand. The bomb that took away their shelter also left Rana and her family with deep physical and emotional scars. They are now displaced in Rafah, struggling every day to survive. The trauma they have endured is unimaginable.
My sister Maram Jamal Shamia and her husband, Mareed Al-Suwirki, were able to leave Gaza with their children, but they carry with them the scars of war. Their home in Gaza was destroyed, and they lost everything. Mareed, a dentist, lost his job, and they are now trying to rebuild their lives outside the war zone, but they need your help.
My youngest sister, Reem, has been living outside Gaza for some time, but she hasn’t been able to reunite with the family. The pain of separation and worry for her loved ones has been unbearable.
A Brother’s Dreams Shattered

My brother Ahmad Jamal Shamia is a bright, ambitious student who was in his third year of dental school at Al-Azhar University in Gaza. The war took everything from him—his education, his home, his dreams. Ahmad was ranked first in his class, always striving to be the best and help others. Now, he is left with nothing. He moves from one temporary shelter to another, hoping for a chance to continue his studies in Egypt. But without financial support, this dream too will be lost.
The Desperate Situation
The situation in Gaza is beyond dire. Every day, my family faces unimaginable hardships. They live in constant fear, with bombings happening around them day and night. They are without basic necessities—no reliable access to food, water, or medical care. The trauma of living through this horror has left deep emotional wounds that will take years to heal, if ever.
We are desperate to get them out. We want to transport them to Egypt, where they can begin to rebuild their lives and find safety. But this escape comes at a high cost. It will take $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child to cross the border and start anew in Egypt. My family is counting on this fundraising effort to save their lives.
How You Can Help
Your support can make a life-saving difference. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to rescuing my family from this nightmare. With your help, we can reunite them with safety and security on the other side of the border. Time is running out, and the risks increase with every passing day.
Please consider donating to our campaign. Your generosity will not only provide my family with the means to escape the immediate danger but also offer them hope for a future where they can begin to heal and rebuild their lives. I cannot thank you enough for your support.
Together, We Can Save Lives
My family is relying on the kindness of strangers and friends alike to help them escape the ongoing violence. Your donation is not just financial assistance—it is a lifeline, a chance at survival. We need you now more than ever. Please, stand with us and help bring my family to safety.
Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your support. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can save lives.

Etaf and her family need your support.
Etaf is a wife and mother of 5 from Ghazzah. Last year, she and her family's home was destroyed, a long with her husband's source of income and their car.
They were displaced for 200 days, all the way induring the hellish tribulations of genocide. Luckily, they were able to flee into Egypt; however their struggles are not over.
Due to their lack of income, Etaf and her husband struggle to provide their children with food, clothing, and education. On top of that, they are struggling to pay the rent on their house as winter approaches.
In order to help Etaf's children continue their education and to help the whole family afford basic necessities, they need to raise €100,000. So far, they've only managed to raise €5,690 and their last donation was 18 hours ago.
Please help them however you can; donate if you're able and share their campaign. Every contribution will help them rebuild their lives.

I am Mohammed from Gaza and this is my story
Before the war, we lived in safety and comfort. I went to school and was interested in my studies. Thank God, I was always among the top students

Like any normal day, I was on my way to school to complete my studies and get closer to my dreams, and suddenly...
At exactly 6:30 in the morning, something happened that changed everything, destroyed our lives, demolished our homes, and snatched away our dreams💔.
It was war...😓
The war came and destroyed all our lives, we were displaced from our home and went to areas we never imagined we would reach and lived in tents winter and summer and carried hundreds of liters of water, whether salty or for drinking and we heard sounds that no human had ever heard before and in the absence of gas fire became our only way to cook if we had something to cook and everything in our lives became lines whether eating, drinking, moving, shaving everything that comes to your mind became suffering and extreme difficulty nothing comes easily

These are some pictures from the war, and each picture carries a story, suffering, and pain that no one can bear. We have not adapted to this, but we are forced to do so. Therefore, I ask you to donate to me and support me to escape from this endless predicament. You can donate through PayPal.👇🏻

I'm Mohammed, I live, most of the people here know me and I talk to you from the heart of the triangle of death ، Gaza 📍⚰️
A person dies of horror at least a hundred times a day, he dies from the sounds of bombing and the sounds of bullets and dies from trucks that are loaded with a little food for an infinite number of people in front of them.
But that's not all, sometimes I feel like I'm unable to do anything and then a miracle comes from one of you as a big donation or as a strong help and attention to get enough donations and this makes me feel happy and comfortable for several days because I can buy flour and food for a short time, knowing that I suffer from certain pathological symptoms that I don't want to mention because of privacy, so I'm nervous sometimes from feeling these symptoms in distant places when I go to get aid from death traps, for example, but that's also why everything .
Honestly, everything is a lot and I can't describe it, but it's like having your head under the guillotine and waiting for death and death doesn't come
So I ask you to lighten the loads from me. My family consists of 8 people and your donations make me feel some comfort in this world where I feel very bad every day, but I try to always be positive and smile like a clown whose heart is sad, but the source of livelihood is laughter and planting a smile on people's faces.

Thank you to everyone who will make me happy with his donations or sharing this post on the widest scale to reach those who donate

Help Mohammed Akram from Gaza 🍉
On July 24th, Palestinian teenage boys were realised after being detained for almost a month.
Why were they were detained? For the crime of hunger - they were detained at the Gaza 'humanitarian' foundation.
The Gaza 'humanitarian' foundation has killed over 1,000 starving Palestinians in desperate need. People are forced to walk long distances or move south, since these sites operate only in the south of Gaza.
People are still being sold flour for very, very high prices. Without an exageration, your donation means that people won't have to risk their lives for some flour.
"I am Mohammed, I am living in Gaza. I am the worst days of my life. I am 20 years old. I support my family after the death of my father and my injury in this fierce war. I am dying of hunger. My friends, I need you to stand by me and help me. I want to buy food for me and my family. Please do not leave me. I am hungry. I need bread. I need some money to eat. Please do not leave me. You are now my only hope and I have turned to you."
Mohammed had dreams to go into computing and work abroad - but the ongoing genocide has shattered those dreams.
Mohammed has been vetted by @/gazavetters, number #083 on the list.
You can support him by following @deepnavigatororchestra, he is a real person suffering in Gaza who needs our help.
Only 7% of the goal has been raised. Only £2,683 out of the 40k goal...
Nobody should have to beg for money for food, nobody should have to ask for your basic humanity.

Power in Unity by Blake Lockehart
“This mural was made by world renowned trainer and hero Blake Lockehart in 20XX following their triumph over the cult-like, criminal organization known as Team Plasma and their attempted siege on the Pokémon League. After fighting bravely alongside the Legendary Dragon of Truth, Reshiram, they said that the clash between it and its counterpart Zekrom- Dragon of Ideals, who Plasma had under their control- was what inspired the work, including the lessons they learned during those fraught times about the importance of trying to understand those different to you.
Following Plasma’s fall, Blake fought heavily for the remaining members to be granted a chance at redemption instead of facing severe punishment, after discovering that many were manipulated and coerced into joining by the nefarious founder Ghetsis Harmonia. Investigations even revealed a large percentage of members had been initiated as young adults, teens, and even a few children- including the son of Ghetsis, Natural Harmonia, who had commanded Zekrom during the League attack.
Despite some public backlash, claiming they were extending forgiveness far too easily, Blake remained resolute in their stance. ‘It ain’t forgiveness,’ they insisted. ‘Plasma hurt me, my Pokémon, my friends, in some pretty irreversible ways. There’s plenty others that don’t owe ‘em forgiveness either. But given the situations of most of those members, I don’t think it’s fair either to lock ‘em away for good. What is anyone s’posed to learn from that? Justice needs to and will be served, for everyone Ghetsis’ actions harmed.” -Blake Lockehart, from an interview with Castelia Times
Lockehart’s mural emphasizes the very values the Unova region is upheld upon- unity. That the brightest future we can strive for is one we work towards together, as a collective in solidarity.”
post-BW1 Blake delves more into their artistic side, sharing the experiences and emotions they used to keep bottled up inside via their art. this was the first one they did at the request of Burgh, following the first defeat of Team Plasma! I like to think they have a few scattered around Castelia City.
I really like doing these simplistic, sorta graffiti-ish style pieces :3 definitely gonna design more “Blake murals” in the future
