This is one of the best aquatic turtle enclosures I have ever seen. While it seems over the top, everything present is necessary for happy, healthy turtles. At least 100 gallons of water, filter, heater, basking lamp, UV light, haul out area, and dry land. If all aquatic turtles were kept this way I’d never see any because they would rarely get sick.

Okay so something my physics teacher said today really got me. We’re learning about gravitational fields and forces and stuff and the basic theory is that everything that has mass, has a gravitational field.

Simply by existing, we are bending the gravitational field, “reality” is warping around us in order to accommodate our bodies.

Gravity pulls us down towards the centre of the earth (at an acceleration of 9.81m/s^2) so every little movement you make, every tiny thing you do, you are defying gravity.

So if you feel like you’ve achieved nothing today, if you’ve sat up, if you’ve moved from your bed, if you’ve lifted your phone to check the time, got dressed, had a coffee, you have defied the fundamental force which keeps us here on Earth. You can do powerful things. Keep going.

What’s difficult in life is to stay centered when somebody does or says something that tempts us to close our hearts because their heart was closed. That is hard. But that is also how we grow. I noticed this, as well. The only interviewed person in one story was German or something.

Really?

So, there are locals in Mexico whose homes are being destroyed, whose lives are being torn apart by this storm

And every damn news channel I’ve come across has the audacity to talk about tourists’ vacations being ruined????? Are you fucking kidding me?? Aw poor them, they have to leave and go home, where they’ll be safe? That must be horrible.

Meanwhile, there are people who are losing everything and cannot escape it.

If I have any followers from Mexico right now, please stay safe. This is absolutely devastating.
