✖ - Dryboarding - stuff rags down my muse’s throat and tape their nose and mouth shut, put them at the edge of asphyxiation

💦 - Waterboarding - put a wet rag on my muse’s face and slowly pour more water on it, while my muse can’t move, make them experience drowning on land

👣 - Kneecapping - shot my muse into knee pit. For good measure also shot them into ankles and/or elbows if you want as it’s common to do so as well with this. ( Specify! )

Gingerly, John poked his head in through the doorway. The hall was deserted, which was just as well, and there was that ever-familiar musty smell that seemed to pervade all churches...

The last time he had set foot in a church was winter of ’89, for a particularly blasphemous music video with his punk band. A lifetime ago now. He had rather fond memories of desecrating the place. He was especially proud of the fact that it riled up his old Catholic school enough that several of his former teachers came out denouncing him.

(Maybe that explained his hesitation now. Or maybe it was the lifetime of debauchery and excess.)

He had been wandering in the evening fog, listless and lost, when he came across this church, with its doors wide open, as if it were a personal invitation. What possessed him to enter the sanctuary, he didn’t know, but his heart was tinged with unease. What was he hoping to find here?

(Perhaps it was a trap laid by God and he was falling right into it.)

John slipped in furtively and took a seat in the back pew, seeking refuge in the shadows.
