🩷-You’ve spent all your life living in the Garden of Sloth with your mother, Eternal Sugar Cookie. You got anything you could ask for in her paradise, and life with your mother was amazing! But the same slothful days spent in the garden grew dull and boring, nothing was fulfilling or new. It was always the same day spent with relaxation to where it felt boring to even get up, everyday didn’t have any valuable memories your brain thought it should care for keeping. Days in the Garden of Sloth felt more and more like a dull cycle rather than a place she was meant to be happy… and then the thought hit you.
🩷-What if you left?
🩷-No.
🩷-It’s a stupid idea, you don’t know what’s out there. Your mother had warned you of the dangers outside of her sanctuary, it’d be better to stay here.
🩷-But the thought stuck to you like glue, curiosity and fear clawing at your head for weeks. Maybe you’d catch a glimpse… just a glimpse. Your mother wouldn’t even notice!
🩷-You managed to get out of the garden without seeing anyone. The forest outside the garden filled you with joy. For once it was something new! It felt so great to finally break from that daily cycle, to have a new memory worth remembering!
🩷-It didn’t take long before a group of monsters were attracted by the sweet scent your time in the garden had practically stained onto you. At first they looked friendly enough. You were about to walk over to look at the group of monsters, but they were already coming towards you. Your caution skyrocketed as the group of monsters started growling at you, making you back up, which only drawn more attention to yourself from the monsters.
🩷-Suddenly the group of monsters attacked you. The monsters were ready to tear your mass to shreds, clawing and biting at your dough as you called for help, mumbling apologies between sobs from regret. Out of nowhere, the group of monsters cowered back and ran away. You looked behind you, the sight instantly made you flinch. Your mother stood a few meters away from you with a blank expression on her face
🩷-“Care to explain yourself?”
🩷-“I-I only wanted to briefly see what was outside the garden, nothing more!” You stammered out your explanation.
🩷-Eternal Sugar hovered over to you, her wings fluttering softly. She gingerly moved her hand to cup your cheek, whipping a stray tear. “Oh my sweet, dear child.” She cooed, her voice dripping with honeyed concern. “My darling child, don’t you understand what dangers lurk beyond my Garden? What creatures would tear you apart without a second thought? You’re so precious, my dear…you can never leave the garden, never leave my side.”
🩷-“Let us return home, dear.” She smiled, but it didn’t fully reach her eyes. Instead, she scooped you up in her arms, holding you close as she began to ascend back towards the safety of her garden.
🩷-“I’m sorry mother, I was wrong for leaving the garden…” You sobbed in pain. Tears stinging your eyes as you hissed through your teeth.
🩷-“shh…Hush now, my sweet child. Hush those tears and dry your eyes. Tears are another form of pain and sadness, and you know I don’t accept that in my haven.”
🩷-“I forgive you, my darling. I know you didn’t mean any harm. You’re simply confused of the dangers that threaten us outside of our garden.”
🩷-She landed in the heart of her garden, the soft grass cushioning their decent. With the flick of a wrist, she lowered you onto a saccharine cloud. “There now, that’s better isn’t it? Mother will make it all better.” She cooed, brushing your hair from your face with a tender hand.
🩷-She stroked your hair gently as she comforted you through the pain. Gently wrapping her wings around you. “I only want what’s best for you, my heart. A life of peace, a joy, of eternal bliss, don’t you understand?”
🩷-“Yes…” you respond faintly. She was pleased by this answer, stroking the back of your head affectionately before gently kissing your forehead. “Good”
