The Japanese production of “Love Never Dies” is the first to replicate another productions - the Australian version, with design by Gabriela Tylesova. The sets and costumes has been shipped over from Australia, and the costumes has been remodeled for its new wearers.  The Japanese production opened last week, and stars Masachica Ichimura/Takeshi Kaga as Mr. Y, and Hamada Megumi/Ayaka Hirahira as Christine. Unlike POTO, which has always been produced by Shiki in Japan, LND is produced by the company HoriPro.

From design to costume:  Gabriela Tylesova’s costumes for “Love Never Dies” in Australia. Christine’s costumes was made by the same guy who did the original costumes for Phantom of the Opera Australia.

As requested: the blue dress AKA Peacock Dress in the Australian production of “Love Never Dies”. Costume and set design (cause here they’re one!) by Gabriela Tylesova, and here worn by Anna O'Byrne and Claire Lyon (lower right photo).  Interesting though: note the different hairdo in photo 3 and 4. The fourth looks more like the Phantom World Tour wigs.
