"Indeed you are more because you are far better than some mere human. Faster, Stronger, more durable only its but a mere fraction of what the rest of my children have. But you are physically far more capable than Nicholas and Vash for sure, perhaps even those Gung Ho guns with a bit more improvements but one step at a time..." Ragyo then noticed that she observes her hair. Something tells her that Meryl wishes to cut it. Which she would allow her, perhaps the next day. Shoulder length ought to be long enough.
"Part of you know what I want and we will get to...that. But that being said, do you recall the whereabouts of those you know? I would like to know where they are so I can keep a good eye on them." Especially Milly of all people but she is keeping that information from her on purpose lest some deep dark and buried part of Meryl may have gotten out.
"I will also need the information regarding gunsmoke at your latest convenience. I need to know the layout of the land if you provide the information. You are a smart woman. I am sure you can provide me that at least. Still, I wish to see you just like this for a bit longer. I sense Vash isn't the only one that has an eye on you, is it not?"
“Strange how?” It did feel strange, now that she mentioned it. “I… I’m grateful to you. I am better. I am stronger. I am… I’m more.” More than the girl who was afraid. The girl who hid behind her friends. The girl who always needed to be protected. She was so so much more.
She knew what the woman wanted. She knew how she could repay her. But she still had a bit of a devious side. It hadn’t completely disappeared. It wasn’t buried among the fibers that wound their way through her veins. She was still… Meryl.
As this settled in, she simply smiled up to her mistress. She’d make the woman ask. She’d never begged for it before. Why should she now? Ragyo had always been the one to approach. And she hoped it’d stay that way. “I’m out of ideas, ma'am. What would you like from me?”

"Closer hm? I see now." Ragyo understood even more intimately than she lets on. Perhaps she is aware or rather fiber self is aware that she is lured in by the very source of the transformation she is made into. Perhaps its allowing herself to be more clingly towards her. Not that she minded this at all. In fact, this is more than amusing to see. So she will let Meryl as she wishes for the moment.
Her smile remained. "Good, Very good. I'll have to see what Nui thinks of your new modification soon. I need a second opinion on ensuring your new...condition. This pleases me." Ragyo would then take in a glass of her wine before sipping it. Just having Meryl like this is more than acceptable in her eyes. Letting her act more like the needy cat than anything for now.
"That is a good question. It does feel strange to hear you say that at first after knowing you for so long but I can't help but be more than pleased with this. Tell me, what would you think is a good suggestion to thank you. I am more than willing to listen." Ragyo remained smiling while she did thought up of someone else she wants to meet personally.
Milly had also been on her mind too and if she has those two along, that just leaves two cards of four she can use against the plants and then...
She couldn’t help but lean into the touch. When the thought of modification settled on her, she resisted a shutter. No. No that sounded like a terrible idea. Every part of her hated that idea. She kept her eyes closed in the woman’s hand before reacting. “No. I think I just needed to be closer.”
That wasn’t entirely a lie. The closer she got to the life fiber, the more comfortable her body became. The quieter the noise in her head got. “I like how I feel, mistress.” She placed a hand over Ragyo’s. “Thanks to you.”
The pain had eased. The voice had gone mute. This is what she needed. “How can I thank you?”

Ragyo continues to watch her even while taking careful looks at how Meryl seems to be reacting towards certain actions and movements of her body. Noticing how well Meryl seems to be functioning so far. Everything seems to be in order, still she will have to keep this in observation. Those words seem like she is muttering for some reason, like there is a struggle or perhaps she is forced to say it. Either way, it makes her wonder even more.
She would end up lifting a chin up to her chin just as Ragyo stared down at her. Caressing her cheek in the meantime, very much amused to see her act this way. This act of submission even willingly is more than pleasing to the woman. This only made Ragyo grin just a little more, her hand remained against her chin and up to her cheek even as she speaks to her.
"Do tell, tell your mistress how you feel? I would like to know all the circumstances of your condition. I may have to modify a bit to make you feel better. The likes of you shouldn't be feeling like this at all, don't you think?"
“Stronger…” At that, Meryl flexed her hand carefully. She did feel that. She felt like… maybe she deserved her place along the fighters she cared for after all. Like she might be able to protect herself, and her friends, for once. “Thank you.” She muttered.
She stepped towards her, hesitantly moving to her knees. Her insides shook at this. Something didn’t sit right with her. Something screamed at her to run away. However, she felt the pull from her body to the other. She placed a hand on Ragyo’s knee and looked up at her. “Thank you.” She told her. Even the words felt wrong.
She was drawn to the other. Like Ragyo held the missing pieces of her. As much as her soul tried to pull away, Meryl’s entire body felt… needed to be near the woman. “I think I have a headache. Or something…”

"Nothing too unusual. Except maybe making you stronger. You may see some differences in your arms. More muscles but not too much, wouldn't want to mess up with your natural beauty. More durability obviously but you are but a prototype for what I am working on. Normally people would require Kamuis of various types to be stronger. I am however going to see if I can do that...internally. So far, I am seeing mild success. Your body seems to be accepting it so far..."
Ragyo then chuckled before motioning her close as she brushed along her own hair even as the rainbow shine is dim enough to not blind the other either. Very amused by what she is seeing, beckoning her to kneel before her.
"....because generally speaking. Normal life fibers would have drained you of everything including your very DNA if it were worn internally. But this is a new...hybrid state. A form of Symbiotic synthetic skin, I just given you. A bit of a gift from you to me. You look the same...but in fact, you are nothing but the same either."
Ragyo chuckled at that thought. If she can transform her, perhaps the others would also be changed. For her benefit.
“My breathing? Heartbeat?” She blinked. “I mean I feel fine. A little foggy but otherwise fine.” She ran a hand through her hair. “I don’t really like this though. I miss short hair. I think I need to cut it.” She was easing up in front of the other. She felt more like she was supposed to be here than in the pale room she woke up in.

“Things feel wrong? But also right? I don’t know. I feel better now that I’m here, I think.” She scratched her head. “Did you do something? I can’t really explain it… kind of like deja vu sensation. Like it’s not really what is supposed to be happening.”
Despite this confusion, she didn’t seem stressed. “I don’t remember… why was I asleep? And naked. And… I was supposed to be your secretary right? Who was that woman?”

Ragyo would observe the woman and her new outfit. Certainly leaves little to the imagination if you discount the cloak but that's for more utility choices than anything. Still, she would observe her when she turns her chair towards her. Rather bemused by this as she crosses one leg over the other. Vastly curious on how she would respond to her now.
"How are you feeling right now? Is your breathing well? Your heart beat? First and foremost, I need to know if you felt anything different. Because I can tell you, you are vastly more different than you let on. Go on tell me anything while you are at it."
Ragyo would keep her glasses on even while she cupped her hands together and rested her face accordingly. Quietly observing the woman more throughly than anything. She has to make sure everything is functioning before she guides this new 'agent' of hers for something more interesting.
Naturally Rei would leave the two as she closes the door behind, leave the two be for now.
Meryl’s eyes wandered across each wall as she followed the other. There were too many people… too many rooms. It was all just…too much.
She came to a stop just before walking into Rei. Ragyo looked…different. The same. But different. Like she registered differently in Meryl’s mind. Meryl felt as though she was in a fog, having woken up with her mind covered by another.
“Ragyo… ma'am?” How was she supposed to address her? Was she supposed to bow? How did she greet the woman before? “I was told you wanted to see me… Uhm… thanks for the clothes.”

"Of course ma'am. Right this way." Rei would merely bow before getting the door open while she leads the other along the hallway. One can notice that its a rather massive mansion even through its corridors of various hallways. One can easily get lost in this place unless they are guided by someone else to properly know where they are going. It didn't take long until they reach the highest floor through the stairs where Ragyo's personal study would be.
Rei would keep a rather steady pace with so many servants and staff of various kinds would be seen walking about within the manor. In fact, Ragyo has an upwards of dozens of maids with each of them being more beautiful than the last in victorian era maid uniforms. Only were suitable for Ragyo's needs.
By the time they reached the CEO's personal study did one notice Ragyo busy reading over her books. Mainly science books, both theoretical and practical. The woman would be looking on ahead in at the window before Rei would address her employer outright. "Ragyo-sama. Miss Styfe has awakened and wishes to meet with you." Closing her books, Ragyo would set it down while she keeps a rather quiet sigh onto her face. Merely nodding.

"Bring her in."
She looked herself up and down in the mirror for a few moments. She wasn’t sure how she felt about the hair. It certainly didn’t fit. But it didn’t look bad? She didn’t like it. But it looked right?
She glanced over at the girl. “Ragyo.” A chill fell down her spine. Why? Ragyo was…Ragyo was her boss. Right. Her boss. “Right. Okay.” Her back straightened. There was nothing to be afraid of.
“I’m not hungry right now. I.. lead the way?”

Indeed it would be considered wrong by her, Meryl would be aware but at the same time. She would also be looking outwardly as she is being controlled by another part of her. Perhaps something Ragyo managed to get out of her mind. Either way, her actions, her movements are not her own. All she can do is witness and think over what is happening around her. But clearly someone is in control, not by Ragyo but by herself or rather a different version of herself.
Indeed the outfit would be similar to her what she wear except it would be a rather form fitting white one piece leotard, long gloves and thigh high boots that are rather snug to her legs and feet. Of course her cape remains the same but can tell that leotard would be hugging her curves rather well without much modest either. What is also strange is that her hair seems to have grown too as it reaches down to the middle of her back. Even her body would look like she has been working out considerably, a result of the life fiber infusions? More than likely.
Meryl would not be alone for far too long as Rei seems to have entered the room with a clipboard in hand. Taking not of Meryl dressing up as she remained rather stoic in addressing herself once the other has the chance to finish up.
"Miss Stryfe, Ragyo will be wanting to see you at your earnest opportunity in her private study. If you would like to eat something or anything else of the matter, you may whatever you may wish of the Kiryuin estate."
Even as she asked that, Rei would observe through her glasses whenever or not the true Meryl remain inside that head of hers.
It’s an odd feeling… your limbs being pulled by strings like a puppet on a wire. Her mind felt tight, as if being pulled into itself. Her limbs moved a little too easily.
Meryl climbed out of bed slowly. Gaining her bearings with bare feet to the cold floor. She looked over herself, taking note of the veins across her skin. Something screamed at her. This was wrong. It was wrong wrong wrong. This isn’t what she should look like. This isn’t what she should feel like.
But the voice was buried under the fog left behind by the life fibers that filled her mind.
Meryl looked at the clothes on the bed, pulling them on slowly before looking in the mirror. It didn’t feel like something she’d wear. It looked vaguely familiar… but…
She turned to each side, taking in her figure. Damn did she look good. She might like this. No matter what her soul screamed out from inside her.

Those marionette tendrils drove so deep into her brain it was like wrapping her mind in those crimson threads. Not the first time she uses it on someone but these were a particularly strong variety of her own design. It was made just in case this woman had gotten smart with her and apparently she is more than correct in using them against her. Little by little did she get those threads to literally grip and wrap themselves across every single cerebral part of her mind like a ball wrapped in red threads. Except these won't get off unless you risk destroying the mind. Ragyo intends to keeping her this time whenever she likes it or not.
The very same woman would merely smile in amusement when she released her, letting the brunette writhe in pain and struggle while on the table. Prompting herself to rest back against her seat while she kept a rather curious look on her face. It wasn't long until her assistants came to finish the work that Meryl started while she remained lounging on her chair. She never really needed Meryl for this but she wanted her around anyway. Now she serves an even greater purpose.
Hours later...
Meryl would find herself naked, alone and in her own personal room within her manor while had her rest after that ordeal. Poor girl would have ended up going into a coma if Ragyo hadn't stablize her condition. Still, she had Meryl sleep with a change of clothes on the side of the bed. They were white but far more revealing than what she had earlier but she managed to duplicate the same cloak and derringers she used to have. Something to at least familiarize with. For now, Ragyo is not around and the new Meryl can look about her surroundings.
Someone will come for her, help her get her bearings on this new existence. Either way, she would look and feel a different than she was before...
....as if she became someone else or maybe a new personality developed within her. That would explain the red veins across her arms...
Meryl couldn’t help the small victory sending the smallest smile to her lips before she was slammed back against the table. This was it. This was going to be the end of her. Or perhaps the beginning of something inside of her.
She screamed, cursed at the feeling. It was like a migraine. So much pressure in her mind. But this was so much more. Instead of feeling like her brain would explode, it was like her mind was imploding. Her vision blurred and her whole body stopped working in ways that she wanted it to.
She felt all the hatred she’d ever had for Ragyo bubbling to the surface. But she couldn’t direct it. No it wasn’t Ragyo. Was it? No… she hated. What did she hate?
Who…
This was Ragyo. Ragyo was the one that she needed, right? So.. so who did she hate? Who… where did this anger come from?
What was she afraid of?

She admits that was something she did not expect and for a good second. That actually hurt her.
That lingering pain went straight for her own brain and she had only herself to blame. She fell for it hook, line and sinker. Part of her commend her for not giving but at the same time cursed her for leading her on. No wonder she is more desirable than Hanji lately.
Her teeth certainly gritted for sure. That would be the only time she would have given this woman any sort of victory. That's the only victory this woman is ever going to have if Ragyo has any say in it.
"...."
What came next would Ragyo pinning down Meryl onto the desk and having her head to the side of it. It wouldn't be long until those same Marionette threads end up driving themselves right up to her brain and clutching every single part of her mind like a vice trap.
What comes next is pain, confusion and eventually submission to Ragyo's very commands. But it also awakens a different side of her, a much darker side of Meryl that one did not expect. Ragyo did not simply want a puppet. She wants someone that is very much the anti-thesis of Meryl herself. A very loyal anti thesis in every shape and form. But its going to take a good long while until these threads wrap themselves deep.
She won't make the same mistake twice with Ryuko this time. She is going to be very through in controlling this woman. Red Life fiber marionette stringers holding on to Meryl's brain tighter and tighter than ever..
She knew she was being baited. She knew that she wouldn’t get out of this mess that she’d put herself in. A mess she’d put herself in again if she were given the chance. Working for Ragyo could have been easy, despite the blatant sexual harassment. However, she couldn’t make the woman’s whims be that easy to please.
And it was still for Milly’s sake. So…as awful as the situation was… She didn’t regret a second of it.
At the offer, Meryl’s eyes widened. She looked away briefly, thinking silently to herself before spreading her legs slowly. Her skirt was short, it rode up to her waist easily. And her legs were strong, so the impact when her knee collided with Ragyo’s center, couldn’t have felt nice.
Like hell was she giving in that easy.

She couldn't be giving up that easily would she? The amount of despair in those eyes is absolutely delightful. Already Ragyo is more than amused by the sheer bravado this woman has in trying to refuse her. So close to making her into a puppet and yet here she is just willing to give up on everything already? No, not yet. She wants Meryl to insult her just one more time, justifying the actions she is about to put on her.
"You know, you can avoid this all together if you just strip yourself down. Legs spread and be used once more. Just to make all this go away but go ahead. Insult me. Make me a joke in front of your eyes. I dare you to make one last gesture before I take it all away. Either way, I'll win. I'll either have an agent for my newest experiment or a recently used secretary. It will not matter in the end."
Even now she can feel those fingers gripping on the same hand she had on her own. Making her more than deviously proud to see this woman struggle if even a mere moment's worth. Ragyo then speaks once more.
"What say you, Meryl?"
Meryl’s blood had turned to ice beneath the woman’s grip. Where anger had boiled inside her, fear had now, finally, taken its place. Her brain? No… no this woman had already mentally broken her before but to.. to take her? To take her mind completely? She knew Ragyo had the power. More than that. She’d be a no more than a puppet on Ragyo’s strings if the woman wanted it to happen.
She couldn’t think of a response. All the smart remarks she had planned and the attitude she held before had now caught in her throat. She wasn’t sure if she should cry or vomit. She struggled a nervous swallow under the designer’s hand. Would even Belial be able to save her? Or was she right?
She couldn’t think of the words. She didn’t know the right thing to say to get her out of this situation. So, instead, she just gripped the woman’s arm that was holding her down, nails digging into the skin. Her eyes were begging for freedom. Yet, despite it all, looking deeper…that fire never went out. And her brows furrowed once more.

and here she thought Finn was on her shit list but Meryl...Meryl is mocking her even worse than he did. Its been ages since she thought of that little shit. Meryl is certainly going to make things worse for her, that much is for certain. It was at that point did she take the tablet and set it across the table. A single hand remained on her neck, not quite applying pressure just yet. She can very well snap it if she wishes but to end her life is far more wasteful.
She would have raped her right here on this very table and just end her right there. Raped her so hard that she can never show herself to Bellial or anyone.
But no, she would be expecting that. She is no discount villian. She will not be that predictable. Such words cut her deep, she will not let her get away with it.
"I can do far worse than rape you know. Do you know how far these life fibers can go inside a human brain? How easily I can have them latch onto you like a parasite and before you say 'That devil can just remove them' well he can remove them but not without lobotomizing you either. I have more than enough reason to just make you an experiment than a test subject but I am far too nice for that. Do not try to force my hand more than I ought to. The fact that I am giving you that much freedom is not often I give to others. Yet you are squandering this over trying to mock me. What arrogance."
Ragyo frowned a little more while holding up that very life fiber ball, letting its very energized form near the woman's closest ear while keeping her other hand around her neck. Narrowing her eyes.
"....how much further do you wish to risk your own freedom for some matter of personal pride? How far are you that willing to risk fate?"
Fear. That’s what she should be feeling, right? But at the mention of Milly, the threats that the woman held behind her shine… “I’m not going to praise you for the things you didn’t do. I’m not going to congratulate you for choosing to not do something terrible. That’s not even the bare minimum you could be.”
She felt the arm around her hip, saw the way the woman’s lips curled and he eyes darkened. She met that smile with a more furrowed brow. Had she lost her mind? Perhaps Ragyo had that effect on people. Because Meryl spoke slowly, clearly to the other. “I think I chose my words just fine.”
She was digging a hole. And she wasn’t stopping. “Just another discount villain.”

Oh that struck a nerve.
She can feel the blood flowing out of this woman's skull. But she is also held herself back. She knows her place a little better now. This pleases her.
"I mean can you blame me? You ought to be proud that you are that beautiful. I could have chosen Milly first but I didn't and instead went with you. I could have done a million other things but I didn't." Ragyo merely smiled. Perhaps over confidently so. Oh how she just tries to vouch for him when she realizes that you cannot really make a rapist like him look good at all and considering today's times. People will sympathize her over Bellai anyway. But she will hear him out.
"Of course, redeeming villians are so last season." She mocked while giving off a rather mocking smirk to herself.
Its just the last part that, Meryl may in fact regret.
"Any...other brand of evil? My dear..."
Ragyo's hold then tightens around the hip of Meryl's as if showing off just a tinge of restrained anger. Her smile remained but her intent is much more threatening. Her voice even more subtle.
'......I would suggest you chose your words more carefully. "
Something certainly snapped inside that woman’s head, that much Ragyo had noticed. She is certainly going to hear something interesting out of her the moment Meryl opens her mouth, Ragyo has a good notion of the sort of reactions brewing within such people. She’ll keep herself quiet when she does speak. “Of course not, unlike him I cannot be broken.” Ragyo straightforward pointed out, she is well aware of how ‘fragile’ humans are or plants for that matter. But what she said after only stiffed out a laugh. “Monster? Perhaps to the outside world but I am anything but I tend to improve everyone, whenever they like it or not. Progress in the end has to be forced if people do not accept improvement first hand.”
She kept her hand across Meryl’s chin even while she visibly urged her to keep on working even as she talks to her. Perhaps she shouldn’t have distracted her so but she cannot help herself. Not around her anyway.
“Oh yeah? What makes that devil better than me? That’s like implying you have chosen a demon over another demon with a shade of blue. Whenever or not you choose to understand, doesn’t change the fact that this ‘devil’ is no different than me in the end even if you did consider me a rapist.”
