Sneak Peak 👀 Introducing this little gem called ‘Popi’ in this striking magenta. I’ve been extremely busy working on a couple of large and exciting projects since January and just wanted to share something new that’s been sitting quietly in the background for awhile now. 43 today so it’s tools down and time to eat some cake 🍰 For those who have joined me recently, hello 👋 , I’m Jacqueline the artist and sculptor behind de la Jardin. I’ve always been obsessed with pottery and ceramics, but wanted to see if I could combine my art with sustainability, so here we are today - papier-mâché clay sculptures and vases. I just wanted to say thank you for being part of my creative journey, I feel very lucky to be able to do what I love (which also comes in ebbs and flows of late nights or creative block etc, but that’s all part of it). The support and seeing my work evolve over the year has been amazing and if I’m honest I’m sometimes baffled by it all and forever grateful. Apparently my kids are making bday cupcakes so guess that’s on the menu today. I hope you all have a lovely weekend! Glad it’s Friday. Been feeling under the weather all week and finally it’s caught up with me. My 6 yr old is home sick too but glad I have a few pieces that I’ve been painting that need time to dry. So I’m going take the opportunity to rest for the day. On the plus side I’ve almost finished this Noosa II Banaue vase which will be heading off to Australia soon 🇦🇺 Anyone else looking forward to the weekend??
