I’m pleased with myself. LOTS AND LOTS OF DOODLES! Mostly of designs of how I would see Tiana von Riegan, Claude’s dad and the Elite Riegan because we were robbed of ACTUAL DESIGNS FOR THE ELITES AND NPCS. Can I at least have a slice of Glenn and Holst one day? Please?

Right now Oregon and California are experiencing one of the worst wildfires to date. The sky is orange and everything smells like a campfire and I'm bad at articulating but it's really serious. Thousands have had to evacuate and lost they're homes in the process. I don't like talking about topical stuff on the blog v often but I'm in the midst of the evacuation zone in Oregon and shits scary. I'm afraid of losing my home and I'm afraid for my family and friends.

Idk what the point is of this post but I feel like not many people outside of the northwest know how bad it is rn cus it's bad. The moment I find donation links I'll link them to this post but I haven't found any yet. And if you're in the northwest rn, please be safe.

Because I have... Very little self control and OH BOY am I not okay with the Ten Elite not having their own faces save for generic things... Have a Riegan. To be fair, he and Claude wouldn’t look too much alike, save for eye shape and facial hair. Beyond that? His Almyran heritage just takes the wheel. And since you don’t see his hair, I went “welp, anything goes so VERY SHORT!”

being a self-taught artist with no formal training is having done art seriously since you were a young teenager and only finding out that you’re supposed to do warm up sketches every time you’re about to work on serious art when you’re fuckin twenty-five

A) has an organized list of things they want to draw, updates list daily with more ideas, neatly checks off all the ideas once they’ve been completed, has an actual schedule 

B) never plans things out, ideas are hastily written down on a crumpled scrap of paper, sits on ideas until they eventually become unappealing and rot in the wip folder

C) draws out ideas as soon as they come to mind, barely ever takes any breaks, forgets to eat, holds in pee until it becomes absolutely necessary to take a break, sacrifices sleep in order to finish a piece

D) stares blankly at the ceiling. can usually be found chewing at the end of their tablet pen. blank canvas has been opened but even the prospect of doing warmup doodles is implausible
