Yes! But I want to do a good amount of research before doing her so I don’t reproduce any kind of stereotype. An example of this is that I have seen a lot of indigenous ppl complaining online about the use of feathers in hear hair, so obviously this is something I will avoid! :)

To be honest I wasn’t really designing him to be androgynous/femme! I only followed his book description: his hair is a bit long and messy, he is strong but very skinny, he is shorter than the other boys. The deep stare with big brown eyes. And even the “cropped” was an accident I was just thinking that when you put your arms up the shirt usually go up too. The same way you just want to be you I was just drawing Nico! I think fandom spaces have strange opinions on gay male characters that doesn’t look typically masculine like it’s an attempt to make them more palatable to a straight audience (which doesn’t make any sense) and I always enjoyed playing with contrasts and gender nonconformity. To be queer is to be brave to be yourself and I am happy that you could see yourself and Nico in my art :) !!

Anon I have kinda of a poor english bad writing when not in cursive and teaching skills that would make an actual teacher cry But here is my best attempt of a tutorial, before I was a digital artist I spent a lot of time in traditional art so my techniques aren’t anything extraordinary and my artist mentality is pretty much the oil painting mentality of “just paint on top of it!”

what are your commission prices?

my prices depend on what I am asked to draw if it is a complex art or not etc :) I first listen to what the client wants and then I give my price

@learningshelfcontrol (I am new to Tumblr so I doesn't know if this is how I supposed to answer your question but uh-) your question is really interesting! I didn't know who was Nicholas Galitzine and then I searched and was like ooo the guy from the gay prince movie ok but no shshs my inspirations for Nico were a bunch of different person's photos on Pinterest (I always make a moodboard), I put moles in all three characters as a form of connect them (hazel's mole is on her cheek!)

what brushes do you use?

Hello! And thank you so much <3 the brushes I use are the default from procreate (especially the hb pencil) and the free pack from yuming but I also change a lot of the properties (?) characteristics of these brushes
