2017 was a wild ride.

I really don’t feel like clogging up an instagram post so instead it his here:

To my fam Mallory, Tyanna, Jess, and Emily, and Darian:

The four of you have been my rock this whole year. From the start it was very rocky for me, going to a psychologist every week and not knowing how to cope or process my own feelings. You all stuck by my side when no one else would. Mallory; not only are you my roommate, but you are my best friend. I have never had a relationship like ours. We are so healthy, we can express how our anxiety is making us feel to one another while knowing that the other will love us no matter wha, and that is really important. Tyanna; you have inspired me so much this year. You graduated and then moved to BC, and that takes a lot of courage. I am so proud to call you one of my closest friends. Plz come back for tundra bowl tho, the three musketeers need to get litty again. Jess; our friendship soared this year. You have also been extremely patient with me and we have bonded over our love for Good Charlotte. Massive s/o to Lake for paying for our ga tickets so we could snag the M&G. i’ll never forget when the plane to florida was about to take off and i got the text from you saying “Hey, wanna go meet good charlotte?”. AMAZING.  Emily; my TINY. you have created so much love in my life. From our first show in December 2016 to surprising you at real friends, our friendship has grown. I love you so much. Darian; you have inspired me so much this summer. We grew so incredibly close this year and i look up to you every day. You are a bright light in my life when things get dark.

To my sisterhood of travelling band trash:

Cass, Mel, and Emma: the three of you not only changed my life this summer, but saved it. Never have i had such an intense girl gang like you in my life. You have stuck by my side through thick and thin. Please let warped tour(like we follow it) be a thing this summer. How LIT. also in the new year may we take more adorable photos around ottawa.

TO MY LOCAL SCENE BEE’S:

Andrew, Krystal, Róisín, Blaire, Cass J, Brit, Jt, and Hannah:

Thank you for opening your hearts and home to me this year. Having friends in music in far places is something i’ve only ever dreamed of. When i think about the people who made my 2017, you are the first to come into my head. I am so thankful for all of you. You have introduced new music to me and i will cherish all the memories we made because of it. 

Last but not least, my CastleChildren:

Dexter, Connor, Matt, and Ryan:

You four have taken me on such a wild ride this summer. You have brought me out of my shell while not overwhelming my anxiety. Thank you for always being some of the greatest pals a gal could have, and for taking me on your adventures. I cannot wait for what 2018 has in store for you, and i cannot wait to spread your music far and wide.

One time a flight attendant offered me a bag of chips and I happily accepted. It wasn’t until after I opened it that the flight attendant told me it cost money and I had to pay for it. And that would be the last time I would ever be fooled in the air.
