"Aster? Well, it would only be natural! It would take some time though, since she doesn't fight much." Zinnia smiles happily. 

"I'd be proud of her, naturally! A change of looks couldn't change how I feel about this little one."

MENTAL STATE headcanon.

Zinnia overthinks things way too much, and places way too much responsibility on herself. When she decided to stop being bound by history and roam the world freely she felt relief, but also sadness. Curiosity is her driving factor quite often when she has no specific goal in mind.

HEALTH headcanon.

*non-committal wiggly hand gesture* ehh

Physical health-wise she's usually fine as long as she avoids exhaustion (sleep deprivation is her biggest demon there). Her mental health is a little fragile, but she's becoming more aware of her weak points and working on them.

why Team Magma and not Team Aqua?

"I scoped out both before I joined either, believe me..." She held a hand before her heart. "Wore disguises, asked questions. Planted knowledge."

"Ultimately, I picked the organization that seemed more likely to win out. Taught them what they needed to know, without telling too much about myself! But in the end, it didn't really matter, did it?"

She finishes her statement with an affable grin.

HAPPINESS headcanon.

Zinnia deals with a lot of depression, and her moods can change rather quickly. When she actually lets go, she's free-spirited and happy-go-lucky (though sometimes she's masking something by acting nonchalant). Flying on Salamence usually helps her moods.

BODY headcanon.

Zinnia is very fit and though she eats a lot, she treats her body like a temple. She tends to be self-reliant to a fault, to the point where she feels the need to be able to protect her pokémon with her own body.

PET PEEVE headcanon

Zinnia ha-a-ates getting interrupted. If someone interrupts her while she's speaking, she'll just keep speaking louder until the other person shuts up. And she can get loud.

FOOD headcanon.

Traditional or iconic things! Wherever she goes she tries to eat as locally as possible (if she's not actually foraging, which does happen sometimes) and asks people around where she might be able to go for some homey food.

Oxlip: Would you ever get into a long distance relationship?

"He hee, thinking romantically are we? Well..."

She pauses to think, tapping her chin and smiling. "If someone wanted to date me, I think they'd have to be ready for some distance." She grins. "I don't plan on settling down in one place any time soon."

Peony: What's your favorite hot beverage?

"Gran's green tea. Though I won't be having it much anymore..."

Tulip: For your birthday, what kind of cake do you ask for?

"I've never had a 'real' birthday cake, I guess! Usually traditional sweets - whatever Gran wanted to make. 

What are the usual flavours for that? Chocolate and vanilla...? I guess those would be okay."

"I think you're somewhat mistaken," she says with a wistful smile. "Draconid history is contained within Hoenn, though we exchanged information with other cultures. I do want to explore other regions and their lore, though."

"Makeshift? Hey, I'll have you know these singe marks are real!" Zinnia protests, indignant. "And it's coooomfyyyyy. And Aster likes it when I dress like this!" she whines, gesticulating wildly at the timid Whismur.

"The dragon of truth... Reshiram." Zinnia mumbled to herself as she arranged and rearranged the stones in front of her. "That's me. The yang." The stones all varied in shape, size, and texture, though all of them were relatively small. They were precious to Zinnia. Her little bag of comforting trinkets. She picked up a milky white stone, cut and polished into a smooth oval cabochon, and held it up to a nearby street lamp, examining how it caught the light. 

The park was nearly empty now that the sun was beginning to set. She sat cross-legged in the center of a grassy area, precious stones splayed on a piece of cloth. Salamence dozed behind her, curled partly around where she sat. Aster was tucked neatly in between Zinnia and Salamence's outstretched hind leg, falling asleep.

The study of stones was a long-standing tradition in Draconid culture, thanks to their attunement with the earth and deep ties with Mega Evolution, but Zinnia wasn't thinking about the stones themselves. Her thoughts were with the dragons of Unova, those of truth and ideals, and the concept of alternate universes. The latter was a core Draconid belief, and one Zinnia had never doubted. Long ago, she had encountered a strange, impish creature that summoned golden, sparkling rings and transported objects between realities. She had told no one about it, and she had not encountered the creature since, though she never doubted the existence of other realities since then. It had shown her various images -- no, actual places and times unknown.

She set the stone back down on the cloth, closing her eyes and breathing deeply. "The twin heroes... I wonder, I wonder how the world would differ if one had triumphed over the other." She opened her eyes again, still touching the moonstone. "Well, I suppose they have. In different worlds."

"Three-thousand years ago... what in the world makes that period so inauspicious? Will these times be remembered the same way?" 

She slumped back against Salamence, still staring at her collection of stones.
