Started to add this piece to my warm up routine Quite delightful indeed. How bored must Mozart have been?

Did he compose a variation for each month of the year? Or perhaps each day of Christmas.

Lingus - Snarky Puppy

I do miss brass being a staple in bands. Insane drum playing from Larnell. League carried the mood of the entire piece. Lawrence was underrated. What a wonderful collective.

Best listened to with a good set of headphones. Fellow audiophiles, you're welcome.

Diamond of the first water

Although I do fantasize and dream of living in a historical setting, "squeezing one's waist into the size of an orange and a half" sounds absolutely dreadful.

The setting - bright, the plot/characters - mundane. The music, rather tasteful, I do love the clever splash of 21st century pop. Would've loved to have seen the characters dance to a Chopin nocturne, but he probably had not come into existence. But then again, what of Ariana Grande?

I'm deluded. Chapter 1.

Beef Bourguignon

I love a good bœuf bourguignon. A french classic, a chef's trial. I am by no means good at cooking, albeit the occassional instant ramen and egg fried rice, but that is a story for another night over drinks. The key to a good beef bouguignon is proper braising. A quick sear to brown the outsides and render an initial layer of flavourful fat, the meat then continues to cook in a seasoned liquid over low heat for a couple of hours. Deglazing and scraping the caramelized sauce along the sides of the pot deepens the flavour of the dish.

Best served with bread.
