There isn’t anyone interesting on here anymore. Everyone’s grown up. Going on this site and seeing its remnants from what it used to be is disheartening. We used to be different people back when this site was popular. Thoughts were conveyed through varieties of mediums. I especially enjoyed the personal text posts that many poured out on here. It was social enough that it was better than Myspace but not overbearing like Facebook, expressed thoughts more personal than on Twitter, and more artistic friendly for photography than Flickr or Pinterest.

I remember learning about this site and thinking I would not ever use it. When,  my girlfriend at the time, convinced me to create an account, I finally realized it’s potential. This used to be my online journal. A place where I would document my present thoughts, not only for my recollection, but for the select few to understand how the intricacies and interests that I wished to convey.

Growing up is a scary thought. For the past few years, I would lie in bed with racing thoughts of my future. Those thoughts were a great inspiration for many of the posts here. However, sure enough, those thoughts have slowly weened away. There is no more motivation for me to stay here. I am no longer the teenager that needs to vent about my personal relationships or this fear for my future. Though I fully acknowledge and am thankful for all those who have supported me through this medium, it is no longer needed.

I graduated college in 2015, have been a nurse for the past two and a half, and I am traveling around the world with my friends who have stuck with me for years. With everything that is going right, I don’t have to vent out any more depressing thoughts about myself. This place was home for a long time. Longer than I had imagined. But I believe it has been long enough. Even though many of you who have left may never see this, I want to thank you deeply from the bottom of my heart. I have learned so much from all of you. But so long, and until next time.
