you guys dont know the absolute comedy of stimming by smacking a bart plushie against your bed repeatedly. and being in a call and wordlessly beating the fuck out of a plushie of a ten year old child and one of your friends just going “jamie. i know you’re hurting bart right now”

just thinking how fucked up it was for jin tho. i mean... jin really ADMIRED heihachi as his grandfather. just thinking of the fucked up implications that jin likes heihachi in tag 1, but heihachi doesn't even give a single fuck about him (according to the netsu system). thinking about how jin cared a lot about heihachi, but heihachi only ever saw an enemy in this innocent boy. like i know i said it before but like you KNOW with how much jin admired heihachi, it probably KILLED him that heihachi treated xiaoyu more as his grandchild than his own grandson. you know with jin already feeling weak for not saving his mother, that this only made him feel weaker. that he probably started blaming himself for "failing" and being "weak" and THAT'S why his grandfather is so cold to him. baby boy wasn't even aware that he had a demon within. so sad to imagine jin going from having a loving, affectionate mother. to a grandfather who's cold around him and harsh on him.

thinking about how, as jin was bleeding out after being shot by the forces soldiers, he looked up at his grandfather in desperation, admiring his grandfather's strength - he was HOPING his grandfather could pull a miracle and save his life. only to be shot in the head by him.

this is why i said, no matter what, jin will always hate heihachi more than kazuya. maybe even more than anyone. jin truly admired heihachi, wanted nothing more than to gain his approval, only to be emotionally and physically abused by him, not even realizing that and blaming it on himself for not "being good enough", and then only to be discarded like a tool after his use has ran out.

it really fucks me up.

He noticed the red glow on her cheeks. It tempts him to ask if she were doing some training herself . . . or if he was the source of heat. But the mention of her deceased parents made him reconsider; now didn't seem to be the appropriate time for such an inquiry.

Sometime? So that means there will be another time! Which means they will meet again. That excited her further more. He's super attractive, and it was the first thing she noticed as soon as she spotted him working out. And if she is honest, that's what initially drew her to him. What can he say, eye candy is eye candy. Yet as he comes closer, she can't stop her face from burning even brighter.

"I would love to show you anytime you wish!" She offers excitedly. She loved training, she often did it with her best friend, Mai. But a change of pace is always better, especially with someone who seems to be stronger than her. "I don't remember much about my mother, unfortunately.. and my dad passed away protecting me. We Shiuns are very prone to dying early on, sadly."

He wanted to say he was fine on his own. The ache in his body, the inability to move his leg, told him otherwise. She's also right, if she were to be his wife, then they will be sharing a life together. Therefore, making decisions for each other every now & then. Following a defeated sigh, Jin nodded. ❝ I'll . . . let you take care of me. ❞ He had gotten so used to always depending on himself, it was odd to have someone else to care for him. He hadn't experienced that since he was living with his mother, before Ogre's invasion.

❝ I'll try to make it up to you later. ❞

"Oh, Jin..I don't want you to worry about that. As long as you're staying with me, I'm going to take good care of you~" She knew he was probably going to protest. He always hated things that kept him from being independent. "And don't you dare say that you don't want to be a burden, because you're not. If we're going to have a life together, you have to let me take charge sometimes~"

Yes! Because villains are usually Very Bad People - therefore, even if their "good qualities" may manifest in bad ways. Such as like I said in my most recent post, Devil has always genuinely liked Jin. But before the events of Tek8, he treated Jin more as a pet, more of something that belonged to him. (That's also because Devil typically looked down on humanity and saw them as inferior). Devil had a fucked up possessiveness regarding Jin.

I do think it's possible to give villains good traits because well... REALISTICALLY, real life people tend to have good AND bad traits. Sometimes, even the worst people might have something good about them. Just the thing is tho... if a character is too bad of a person, then their bad traits may either bleed into the good ones, or their bad traits overcome the good. Like I just think, for the most part, it's hard to have villains that have a "pure love" like "good guys" would have just because their flaws are too heavy. I'm not saying it can't be done, but it's just not gonna be a common / expected thing, y'know?

like i'm gonna say that if devil was still a bad guy / villain, he'd definitely put himself first before anyone he likes. but like. that was also kinda the point i was making with the tek6 verse. is that devil may have liked jin. but in the end, he was willing to "kill him" in order to achieve his goals, in order to obtain power.

Because villains are typically associated with selfishness. Now villains can have a degree of evil. (Some being more evil than the other) but... villains are typically self - motivated creatures. Villains are usually known to betray others because they always come first, their goals always comes first. that's why villains are villains. they do stuff that harms innocent people and they don't care because they want to further their wants, they don't consider other people's feelings.

And it's not just the "power of love," too. It's also the power of friendship - in fact, that may be an even bigger trope than the power of [romantic] love. And again, the villain has no friends because the villains cares about numero uno most before anyone else. When you're selfish, full of other condemning qualities, it's hard to keep friends. Realistically, even if somebody like that met another person like them - they won't remain friends for long. Because bad qualities / traits are not compatible ever. If one asshole meets another asshole, they're gonna bash heads together eventually.

Of course, it is nice to have media that does the unexpected. But ... it's just true. Villains are often associated with terrible characteristics and they're usually selfish. Hence, why you don't see that often. Also villains are usually associated with negative things. They're the opposite of a role model. Love is typically viewed as a good thing. Hence why good natured characters are more likely to have the power of friendship or love whilst a villain doesn't.

❝ Hmm. ❞ That's true, Devil acknowledged. But it wasn't only a gray area, but a blurred one, too. Even Devil himself couldn't understand how much his actions were credited to Azazel, or how much were of his own volition. He would've never want to hurt that many people again. No, no, he didn't want to hurt anyone innocent again. Those were his own feelings, right ? Or was that a result of purification ?

There were many questions swarming in his mind, but he shooed them all away. Now's not the time to self reflect & endure an existential crisis.

❝ That's why I'd like my own body. I won't have to be stuck in our mindscape . . . waiting until it's my turn to come out. But . . . it may be weird to not have Jin always around. ❞ It was weird during the war. But Devil really wanted to stop looking back on those times. ❝ I suppose it's something we'd get used to. ❞

It was a releif to know that Devil didn't consider Yuki's wish selfish. He gave a small smile in return. It was surpisingly easy to feel at ease around Devil. Even if he still had much to learn about humanity.

"He, kinda has a point . While saving the world as Ange Jin was amazing. You..diiiid kinda, start things first. Granted there's the grey area of just how much of it was you and how much was it Azazel's influence. " Yuki said with a thoughtful expression. He knew Devil of the past was, the biggest of assholes and a warmonger. But he also had a creator who filled him with that anger in the first place. It was a prickly situation.

"Though..with your own body.. I wouldn't have to wait for your turn.." Yuki grinned, ideas floating around his head.
