Toxicity in K-pop fans
In the korean entertainment industry, the fans become so toxic and obsessive with the artist. Sometimes, the passion and affection of some supporters to their idols lead to negative and detrimental behaviors for both artists and fans.
Some examples of this are the attacks in social media to other fans or artists, excessive reviews, invasion of artists’ privacy, spreading of malicious rumors, etc.
One very clear example is the fans who belittle the work, effort, and talent of some artists in order to praise the achievements of their favorites. This can lead to fights and arguments among fans.
These toxic behaviors not only affect the mental and emotional health of the artists but can also create a negative environment in the K-pop community in general. It is important to remember that everyone deserves respect and support, both the artists and other fans.
It is important to promote a culture of respect, empathy, and mutual support within the community so that everyone can enjoy their passion in a healthy and positive way.

SOTUS
The SOTUS system in Thailand is a quite interesting and controversial topic. On one hand, some see it as a tradition that promotes discipline, respect, and hierarchy in educational institutions, especially in universities. However, others believe that it can foster abuse of power and situations of harassment.
I think that the SOTUS system can be a good tool to create good relationships with new university classmates since everyone will feel nervous and perhaps scared when starting a new stage in their studies. Additionally, it allows them to get to know older students and have the opportunity to approach the career in a more realistic way, finding unity and respect within it. As long as it is implemented correctly and does not harm anyone.
On the other hand, if the system is used by older students as an excuse to abuse the power and hierarchy they hold to insult, mistreat, and humiliate the new students, it loses its original purpose and becomes only a tool for abuse.
