hi i seem to remember you talking about what voice training apps you used but cant seem to find the post, maybe it was on ur old blog it was a while ago. if its not a bother could you please post about them again, im looking to start voice training cant really find an app or website that works well. thanks :)

this will track ur pitch, both as a line over time and as musical notes

so the exercises my therapist taught me for voice training consisted of

- hum through a straw. this is weird, but like, get a straw, hold it in ur lips, and make noise while blowing through it. Make sure there's air coming out of the end as you hum through it. This gets ur whole vocal apparatus in the best position for speaking. Try going from high to low sounds and back while consistently having air coming out. Hum the pledge of allegiance through the straw.

- ok, no more straw, turn on the app. hold the vowel sound e in the feminine register, but the lowest part of it, for like as long as you can

- then try going from your lowest to highest and back a couple times. oooooOOOOOOOoooo style.

- then finally, make an "oo" sound. hit these notes: G3, A3, B3, C4. Use the app to find and hit those notes.

then do everything but the humming one more time!
