And they were high value before now?
Unfortunately Q4 of the fiscal year was a disaster so my tumblr posts will be extremely low budget starting now.

I hate to break it to you, but small and little mean the same thing. Might I suggest spicing up your description with something that isn’t a synonym, such as tiny.
Why don't you tag any of your posts?
Why would I need to? do i need to tag them #funny to get notes?

addendums: cult classic tv overlaps with early supernatural seasons somewhat, i am aware, just choose based on the cultural context in which you read your first fic.
for weeaboo crew i was thinking of examples like hetalia, black butler, soul eater, etc--popular anime absolutely included but the distinction is that people who were into dragon ball weren't necessarily going to anime club every week and making deviantart stamps about yaoi, but people into ouran high school host club ABSOLUTELY were.
homestuck is in its own category because homestuck changed fandom forever at a critical time which just happened to be when i was growing up in fandom. harry potter, lotr, star wars, and twilight are in their own categories because they were such multimedia juggernauts they had entire archives dedicated solely and only to their fic that spanned multiple franchise reboots (books -> movies -> extended universes). (i acknowledge star trek technically would fit under this but at the time culturally it had more overlap with other cult classic tv fandoms.)
honorable mentions that didn't make it to the list because i had to pick-and-choose with the 12 answer limit: the final fantasy franchise (axed because i am not familiar enough with the fic scene to know if it was as iconic of a gateway drug as, like, naruto or twilight or star wars fic), a general YA lit category (YA lit outside of twilight only went mainstream slightly after this time period), the MCU (i have a hate boner for the MCU), a broader "american superhero comics" category (this would be valid as an option but i don't have the space)

I love everything about it so far. It has so many Australian tidbits (I am Australian, for context). I don’t think I could hate the show, because this literally is a pipe dream for one of my hyperfixations to get an Australian spin off. The only thing that would make me hate it is if it got cancelled lmao. If your looking for genuine constructive criticism unfortunately I am not the place to look for because I am EXTREMELY biased. But yea, if your looking for NCIS but Aussie, it is def gonna be up your alley. It has the banter that Ziva and Tony had, and the side characters are genuinely amazing.
I just found out that Australia is getting their very own NCIS: Sydney. So………………….that’s kind of cool.

Take Me Home Buck falls asleep while babysitting Jee-Yun and Maddie offers to take him home. But he doesn't want to go back to his loft. Luckily, Buck always forgets how smart his sister is.
Buck hadn’t slept on a couch in a long time. Well, a long time for him. Almost three whole months.
Then again, he hadn’t really considered that when he agreed to watch Jee so late into the evening when Maddie and Chim had yet to get furniture for their guest room and he wasn’t sleeping in their bed.
Jee-Yun was asleep, had been for a couple of hours now while Buck attempted to find something to watch to pass the time until Maddie got home. It was Chimney and Hen’s monthly bestie night out and Maddie had a late shift at the dispatch center that she was nearly done of for the night. She should be home soon, or, she would have been home soon if Buck hadn’t said it was okay if she went to swing by the bar Hen and Chim were at to see her fiancé because their work schedules were at odds most of this week and she won’t see him for like a day or two.
Buck muted the TV, leaving it on so he could watch Gordon Ramsay yell at the blue team in his restaurant while he tried to get comfortable on Maddie’s too small couch.
He had apparently reached a point where he figuratively and literally outgrew sleeping on couches.
Most of his adult life was spent couch hopping across the Americas. The times he spent the night at Bobby and Athena’s or sleeping on his own couch when he was hurt too bad to get up the stairs in his loft. And then there was Eddie’s couch.
That was the one he most recently had upgraded from.
Now, he slept in Eddie’s bed.
Not that anyone knew that. They’ve been taking things slow, keeping this new development close to their chests while they sorted it all out. It wasn’t that either of them was under any impression that they weren’t forever, but transitionary periods were hard no matter what.
And it was fun to keep it a secret.
He doesn’t remember falling asleep, one minute he was watching Gordon yell the blue team out of the kitchen and the next Maddie was squatting down in front of him, gently shaking his shoulder.
“Time to get up,” she whispered, “I’m taking you home.”
Buck groaned while she shook him again, less gently now. The last place he wanted to be was home. Home was lifeless high ceilings, girlfriends walking away once they found out he was too much, and familiar familial lies.
The time he spent there was dwindling more and more each week as Eddie and Chris less than subtly emptied it right under his nose. It was only rare occasions when he wasn’t able to go to the Diaz house, like tonight with Eddie and Christopher participating in a whole family video call to celebrate Eddie’s dad’s sixtieth birthday.
“Don’t want to,” Buck said into the folded blanket he was using as a pillow.
“Yes, you do,” Maddie stole his not-pillow. “Get up.”
It took several more minutes of cajoling on her part but she got him up and to her car with him barely reaching a point of being fully aware.
He passed out as soon as she deposited him in her passenger seat.
He has no memory of anything after that.
He woke up in a bed.
Not his bed.
Buck could tell it was morning by how rested he felt, nothing short of seven hours ever left him feeling this rejuvinated and able to wake up on his own. So it was morning, definitely bright outside, and yet it was dark in the room he was in.
The familiar room, with a familiar bed, and a familiar weight beside him.
“Eddie?” Buck asked on the off chance that he had been kidnapped by the world’s nicest kidnapper because he had no other explanation as to how Maddie driving him back to his loft resulted in him here.
Without responding, because Eddie was not one for pleasantries before having a concerning amount of coffee, Eddie rolled into Buck’s back. The way he held him was less of a loving embrace and more of a bear hold to keep him in place. “Sleep, Carino,” he instructed groggily.
Buck was content to do so. He loved waking up with Eddie, stealing away a few moments together before facing the world. He felt at home in Eddie’s arms.
Shit.
Maddie said she was taking him home.
“She knows,” Buck muttered out loud.
“She does.” Eddie buried his face in Buck’s neck like the minimal light that had stolen its way into his room was being mean to him. “Now shut up and sleep.”
Buck loved this man. Maybe a little too much to contemplate so early in the morning.
He let himself fall into that feeling. That lovely one where nothing but Eddie’s arms around him mattered and too-knowing sisters were a problem for later Buck.

i sometimes fall down this spiral of how nolan and lucy were meant to be the main ship and i'm just like huh?? because no matter how i try to work it in my brain, the math doesn't math. like in theory, i guess kind of because he's the main lead and her character was written to be the main love interest but in never quite landed? like i remember in that first episode when it was revealed it was lucy, i was shook but not in the good way - literal jumpscare. it's also funny to think of how that storyline was clearly leading to them breaking up and then finding their way back to each other but instead it fizzled out completely. out of all the love interests nolan has had, lucy should definitely never have been one of them, imo. they're really better off as friends and someone the other can unconditionally rely on. however, the aftermath of it is interesting especially thinking back to jackson's point about lucy never having been in a serious relationship and how she ended up dating someone twice her age who had just gotten divorced. it really goes to show her character growth through the seasons because i always think about how she said she joined on a whim like i think that that says a lot about her mindset in that time period and how it influenced why she got invovled with nolan in the first place. what i really love though which was unintentional given how chenford was not meant to be a ship, is the stark difference between the two ships should i even call the first a ship? lmao. there are so many parallels that exist there that it's kind of cool to see like how talia warned her about dating a cop would 'brand' her but nyla reminded her of how much everyone at mid-wildshire respects her which wasn't exactly correlated to her dating tim but it seem to resolve that potential conflict because it was established that lucy has made a name for herself; lucy saying they couldn't go out for breakfast when nolan brought it up because someone might see them to just about poking fun at tim for getting startled during their first date when he thought someone would see them; lucy's belief of what was the most important relationship she'd ever been in to the actual most important relationship in her life.

this evening my fiancé and i found a kitten blind, bleeding, back crooked, unable to move, and covered with ticks and fleas. between two precvious unrelated medical emergencies, issues with paypal, and the costs of hospitalizing this kitten we are out of money. to make matters worse i was bitten by the kitten and now have two infected (swolled and red) cuts on my hand due to a bite from the kitten. i need to go to the hospital but we dont have the money for it. we dont have any family to lean back on, any savings to help, nor jobs to earn money from, we really dont know what to do. with the way things are if we want a chance at surviving we need to raise $1100. if you have anything to spare, whether it be 10 dollars or 1 it would be more than appreciated,
$65/$1100

so some really sad eddie diaz thoughts tonight
you know how he finds out that tia pepa was married once before and he had no clue, it's because abuela made sure that it was like "he never existed?"
and the very next episode we see him at the cemetary with chris? and that whole episode is just wrought with shannon's memory, not just with him but with chris as well?
do we think that eddie made a promise to himself the moment he found out about pepa's first marriage that the same thing will never happen to shannon? to ensure that shannon is never shoved aside or forgotten like she never existed, so he puts all of his efforts in that with chris so he never forgets her either and he too can also keep shannon's memory going?
and since it was highly suggested that his parents never really liked shannon, do you think a part of eddie was afraid that if given the chance, his parents would do the same thing, and shove shannon aside until it's like she never existed?
that he too, eventually, would do the same thing to her? like how tia pepa never mentioned her first husband?
and is that's why from then on, eddie says her name aloud even more, he shares more of his and her history to everyone, tries to relish the good and the magic of their love so she lives on in other people's minds and memories as a good part of him, and can never really fade away
as long as he speaks her name, remember who she was when he loved her fully, she will never be forgotten
