Finally! The new Forgeworld Goliath ‘Zerker is finished. Lovely model to work on. I did get a bit carried away highlighting the skin, so that was been toned down. Just need to get the rest of the gang done now! #paintingwarhammer #paintingforgeworld #paintingnecromunda #paintinggoliathgangers

To say the Christmas Period has been slightly stressful is a massive understatement. I managed to sit down today and complete the first of the wall sections for Necromunda.

Taking a break from painting for Grandfather Nurgle and diving into the depths of the underhive. First up is a test for my Van Saar gang. This is the leader of the gang, as of yet nameless...just like his gang! Faces are not normally my thing, so I followed a YouTube video from Darren Latham. For a first shot at using a new technique I’m happy with it. I’ll stick with this method for faces for the rest of the gang. Practice makes perfect after all!

My second Warhound Titan is complete. A lot of new (for me) techniques learned and used. Very happy how this has turned out. No doubt it will die horribly in the first round of shooting....

After a lot of work last night (and vodka) we are now at this stage. The chaos eye thing needs finishing, tentacles, rust, dirt streaks and final weathering “should” happen today. Then it’s onto the body and weapons.

I’ve not got much done this week, but I have managed to get 5 Chaos Cultists painted up for my Death Guard (or indeed any other Chaos armies I may have a hankering to paint!). Another 5 are on the way.

For a while now I’ve been wanting to do some photos of my Death Guard army all together. And I still haven’t done it! I have, however, finally got some photos of the mechanised element of the army. Still to add to this are a couple of Landraiders, a Rhino, another Plagueburst Crawler, a couple more drones, more Knights and Wardogs. Might also add some Predator tanks too.
