Where do I possibly begin.. I’ve been so fortunate in my time to meet so many amazing people. Some still present and some sadly leaving the site to move on with their lives. And I could leave a huge list but I will restrict myself but I want to thank everyone who has been a part of my time here.

This is also in no particular order. Huge shoutouts to @twordishcj and @idreamofticklehugs - I don’t know where I would be without you two! And a huge thank you to both of you. Putting up with my rambles and nonsense but your support and friendship is so special.

One final shout out has to go to my longest standing friend in the community.

We go way back across multiple platforms and she still hasn’t got rid of me yet 🤣 here’s to you @t-wordiiish - without you I would never of had the confidence to be myself and really understand what I enjoyed about this community and my place within it! Got to be at least 6 or 7 years now if tracked back to the beginning maybe even more. But I remember them as if they were yesterday and they are truly happy memories of my time in the community.

A belated happy new year to those I haven’t reached out too.. I have been off since around the new year and just reaching out to say all is well! It’s all good news but it’s a slight hiatus with just general busyness after the Christmas period.

I can’t believe this was 5 years ago that this was originally posted! Ah, I can remember the fun of seeing those who got called out as if it were yesterday. But lucky you, I’m bringing it back for the people who might be interested in bringing a late gift of laughter to a fellow user. I’m sure they’ll love seeing that they’ve been tagged in a mysterious post only to read it and find out the true consequences.

A Game between 2 Lers:

So, here you are.. your dreams (or nightmares) of a scenario with 2 eager lers becomes reality and naturally in the build up there has been plenty of communication so everyone has an understanding of what is to come during the upcoming seesion. But, imagine a surprise hidden up the lers sleeves which only becomes apparent once you poor lee can’t move after the session has begun.

I’m sure teases in the build up and a little ler bravado would see a sort of friendly competition emerging between the lers as to who can get the best reactions. Who has the greater tickling skills. And well - there’s only one way to find out. The proof is very much in the tickling.

So a competitive game is proposed with both lers positioned either side of you. Ler 1 starts with a tickling action, perhaps a few squeezes to your sides. And sits back. It is then Ler 2’s job to repeat that action and then add to it..

Ler 2 decides to do the side squeezes and follow up with scribbles across your tummy.

Ler 1 steps back up.. starts again with the side squeezes. Moves to scribble across your tummy and then claws into your bare underarms with a verbal “tickle tickle” as their addition this round.

Then just like a tickling tennis match play goes back and forth between the lers until the chain of tickles is broken, forgotten or a step is missed. (Whilst also making sure on the lee at ALL times). A victor can then be proclaimed. Unfortunately I can’t tell you how many rounds you might have to endure. But each round will get longer as a new spot or tickling action is added.

Do bare in mind though, from the lee perspective even if the game comes to an end. You’re still at the mercy of 2 lers who may simply shake hands and take advantage of what they have learnt to join their ticklish forces and simply play out the rest of the session jointly tickling you and enjoying every reaction you give back.

Having been thoroughly put on a ler mood of late (you know who you are for doing such a thing) it left me thinking about how tumblr as a platform can inflate one’s ler mood.

So I thought to myself, what’s happened to get me from a normal, out of tumblr state of mind, to this ler mood that continues to persist! So I looked to create an image that would represent that very fact. And as a non artist I came to this conclusion:

A shoutout to @daisylovestickles (hope it’s okay to tag, but wanted to give credit) and her post which inspired this little reply: “If you ask me if I’m ticklish, I’m gonna say no every time” was the quote that got my mind thinking.

What if we flip that to a ler perspective:

When I ask you the dreaded question.. you know the one. You may say No adamantly, almost convincingly. But, do you know when the question is asked - I’m not listening to the verbal curated answer.

I’m looking for the subtle pointers and instant reflexes that simply can’t lie.

Which giveaway is yours I wonder dear reader?

Is it when are I ask, you’re not ticklish are you? Do your eyes widen with a sharp intake of breath?

Is it when I ask, are you ticklish? Do you start stumbling over your words as your brain rapidly processes what answer to give and the potential consequences of your response.

Is it when you catch the certain glint in my eye that you’re stuck in that fight or flight dilemma. Squirming in your spot just a little.

Spot to Spot

Cast your mind back to a time of opening a favourite children’s magazine or art book. It then you would have different puzzles, word searches and pictures to colour. Some of those cases would have seen numbered black spots on a page and you could connect the numbers in order and draw that picture:

A Dot to Dot.

Some amongst you may be getting ahead of me.. connecting the dots yourself if you’d pardon the pun. But taking that same dot to dot principle, why can’t lees and lers have spot to spot?

Take the upperbody for example. We all know that there a number of spots across the tummy area alone all individuals in there own right, but with their proximity it’s so easy to move between them. So why not a lee or a ler set a route to be followed once it comes to the tickling portion of the spot to spot.

Imagine a ler placing points on a lees upperbody and taking there fingers or tool of choice as their pen, they follow those dots all the way to the end. Maybe it spells something out, that’s up to you as creators of your own spot2spot.

Equally, if a lee wanted to surprise a ler, they could create the spot 2 spot for a ler to follow. Should the mood be just right of course.

I feel like there’s more that can be said about this idea and the practical implications. But I wanted to share because I liked how it sounded, and if anything I know the community can take basic ideas and turn them into something special. So let me know what you think of the idea and how you might change it to improve it or how you might use it.

I logged in today and to my surprise I had a number of likes and comments waiting for me, most related to one of my older posts (2020). Seeing that it is still being enjoyed and that it is nearly at 400 notes just made me smile! Just reading the new comments and re-reading the old and seeing the fun and the engagement brought a smile to my face as that’s all I ever wanted to contribute to the community.

Thank you all for reminding me that the fun is still out there, especially the fun of reading people’s reactions when they find out how they’re initials and birth month call out their ideal tickle scenario 🤣 and how accurate it is 😜 (you’re welcome).

Seeing that it’s having this small resurgence, I thought I would reblog the post myself to open up an older post to new friends, new community members or anyone just interested. Let’s keep the game alive!

Tickle Spot Tournament

On their blog, descriptive-tickles posted a tournament bracket and suggested that it be used for people to determine their most ticklish spot or favorite. Here is mine:

In a conversation with a friend, I recently used this graph to demonstrate a point - when one thing increases, something trends upwards. It was only simple. But quite fun to create a visual to prove that point.

However. That got me thinking. Maybe other people would like to create there own graphs and decide on the titles of each axis and then if they feel happy to share it for others to see.

So here we are. The slate is blank, each axis is there for you edit.. maybe it’s something general or something for a specific ler/lee. Either way. Have some fun with it and use it how you see fit.
