Not an witch request but goodness you’ve inspired me so much to make witch designs (I even made like, a lot of witch designs for fandoms / ocs of mine bc of your work >:0)

for that, I thank you !!! :DD here’s two of my witch designs I’ve made (first one is a witch for Griefer (blocktales), the other is a witch I made for Lanyon (jnh)!!)

Woah!! These are incredible! I’m so glad you like my work, I’m even more glad that you’re able to find inspiration from it & create things.

I recently got asked to make a griefer witch too and oh my god I love your interpretation, the lotus flowers are a nice touch thst I WISH I would’ve thought of as a symbol for rebirth into a twisted new form as a witch.

I’ve never played Roblox before so when I was reading through the wiki page for block tales to get an idea for what the witch would be like, I saw that it was an rpg of sorts. Which piqued my interest because I love rpgs.

Also the lanyon witch is very cool also! I love the familiars!! this paper tear effect for the border you have on there is also really nice to look at, keep up the good work!

I saw these in the post I was tagged in and I was planning on responding to it but it’s getting harder & harder to find time to respond to all the cool posts I’ve been tagged in of people showing off what they make after being inspired by my stuff.

It genuinely makes me so happy to know I inspire people. Here’s something I made for those lanyon witch familiars, I genuinely love their design so much (gave them a lil nurses hat because I thought it was cute)

I know you answered an ask about this before, but since then have you looked more into taking commissions for these?

Oh, I have. PayPal seems to be the only reasonable option here even though I keep hearing horror stories about PayPal stealing money from artists or randomly locking people out of their accounts.

The fact that my deadname will be displayed for everyone to see also kinda deters me, it’s an uncomfortable experience to have anybody know your deadname. You’re kinda putting all your trust in people to not remind you of the person you’re trying to distance yourself from. (Along with the deadname thing, it’s also a little embarrassing in general because I was named after my dad’s favorite basketball player 😭) I genuinely dislike my deadname so much.

I do plan on opening up a PayPal eventually, commissioners will definitely be a higher priority as their works will have a larger canvas and more details.

Only thing I’m trying to figure out is pricing. I answered a question like this before and I mentioned that I’d probably price them at 5-ish USD but I told my friend about it and they said I was underpricing my art and it’s worth more than 5$ with all the work & editing that goes into it.

So I’d like some feedback, what would be a fair and reasonable price for everyone?

Surprisingly quite a few people seem to think I’m a fan of limbus company myself. I got 3 different people that have said something among the lines of ‘it’s nice to know there’s another person out there who likes both Madoka and limbus company’

I have never played the game before, It just so happens that a lot of limbus fans find this blog. I can see why people think I’m a fan of the game though, with how many witches I’ve gotten asked to make for the cast.

I’m thinking about trying the game for the first time to see if I like it or not. all I ever play are indie rpgs like ib, mad father, the lisa series so it would be nice to switch things up a bit. If I ever do play it, I’ll probably record my blind reaction to it.

Also all these requests but I wanna say thank you!!!!!! I hope you don't overwork yourself bc you're important regardless of how much you produce. But with that in mind, thank you for putting so much of your personal time and energy into making these awesome art pieces of people's fav characters, you're awesome!!!!!!!!

Thank you, I really appreciate the humanization from you. I really needed it today. I definitely won’t overwork myself again, I learned from last time. I’m really glad people seem to really like my art, I got told I had an ‘easily recognizable’ style today and I couldn’t tell if it was a compliment or not but I took it as one.

In regards to ‘how much I produce’ I have some words to share about that. Plus me being open about my struggles and boundaries when it comes to this blog.

I was looking at my inbox to check the progress I made and 90! Down to— 60. Man. I remember wayyy back, in the earlier days of this blog I could crunch these out in under a week or two. I used to be able to work so fast. Just in time for the scheduled inbox re-opening.

I sadly am not able to do that anymore due to a combination of my work schedule being changed around plus another bigger scale project I have in the works now. So I can’t even schedule a set reopening date for all the cool new people finding this blog for the first time. Which makes me a bit sad because I get comments and messages asking about the next opening then I look at the inbox count and I have to tell them I don’t know when it’ll be reopened.

Speaking of messages.

I also have problems with reinforcing my boundaries. Sometimes people will message me with questions about the blog and I think ‘oh, I can help them!’ And I’ll answer hoping that after I help them, the conversation will be left at that and I’ll never have to speak to anyone again for a while. But sometimes people continue to spam my messages with no questions, just conversation I’ll never respond to. It makes me feel bad because I don’t want to have to tell them to leave me alone, it’ll make me look like a cruel person.

I don’t like talking to people much because I have bad anxiety which sometimes leads to really bad paranoia. ‘What will these people think of me?’ ‘.what if I make them mad somehow?’ That kind of thing. And it sucks because there are genuinely some people here who I would love to be friends with and discuss stuff with but my mind will never let me because it’s too afraid.

I keep the messages open for help & help only, any questions about stuff that I can answer.

I don’t like when people spam my messages, trying to get a response from me. That’s happened quite a few times on here and I have a strict rule about people messaging me in the intro post. I thought I made my boundary clear, I prefer it if people keep it as brief as possible. It makes me sad that some people ignore my boundaries.

But I don’t ever dare to try and say anything about it. ‘What if I get called a bad person?’ ‘What if they take it as a personal attack?’ ‘What if I get harassed or doxxed because of it?’ Are all thoughts that keep me from that.

I’m aware it’s irrational but I can’t help it. Somebody told me once before ‘oh, Andreas! You shouldn’t be on social media then if you don’t want to engage with the social aspects. You never sound like you’re in the right headspace for it’ and I understand that but please, I just wanna share my creative outlet in peace.

But with all that being said, vented, and out of my system! I firmly believe all the positive outweighs the negative and I’m really grateful to have people enjoy looking at what I make.

Ah, MS paint. The place where I made my very first digital art piece. I knew I had to do their witch justice.

I sometimes include familiars in my pieces depending on if I have enough space in the work to add them in. And this witch’s familiars are probably my favorite familiars I included! Their familiars are paper flowers with hands acting as a stem that help with the witch’s masterpiece.
