Reflection
In reflection of this studio paper, it has been a thought provoking and enlightening process. I have been writing this essay for many months, and it has been extremely challenging at times. I have enjoyed this self exploration and the fact that it has been challenging. The topic of childhood illness has been hard to go back on but I appreciate the fact that I have. It has inspired this design project that I have completed greatly and I am proud of the body of work that I have produced over the semester.

Week 6
Todays tutorial was peer feedback. We worked on our essays, especially chapter 2. Prior to class I had written a draft, and I put it studiocity. This was so helpful!

Peer feedback
Today we had peer feedback, and this was a great time. I shared my work with a lovely girl and we gave each other great comments on what to work on. We then had to spend another 25 minutes implementing these changes to our positioning statements

Week 5 Sdl Reading
The metaphor of rigour is very old and combines Aristotle's belief that moving bodies naturally tend to slowdown and stop expresses the profound denial of movement implicit in the metaphor of 'rigour.' Newton's First Law of Motion was an important step in undermining this idea because it proved the non-existence of absolute rest. in 1915, Einstein took the idea further and showed that space and time are interdependent and dynamic. Bohm (1980, p9)
This quote here is a great one that explains what rigour is and where it comes from. This reading was quite technical and hard to understand. As I am writing my own essay, and writing my contextual paragraph, I find myself expressing myself in my writing, and not following the rigorous writing rules- as they oppose my design style.
This reading states that these two thoughts are hypocritical as design is a free thinking space that is not rigorous.
I enjoyed this reading
