Sometimes I think about 'tHerE aRe OnLy twO gEndeRs' crowd and think of how they are not only gender bigots but also terrible, terrible racists. Like it takes some laaaaaaarge amount of deliberate ignorance to not acknowledge the many many varied genders and gender based communities that have been existing for thousands of years, perhaps right from the start of 'civilisation' (ofc these ppl only consider certain civilisations to be 'civilisations').

Like boo. Pick a struggle. Ppl have already decided there are multiple genders since they learnt how to write - you're terribly late to the party.

why are there days when it feels audacious to even think that people like me let alone love me. there are days when it even feels burdening to expect my family to love me. not even in a heart-wrenching way but in a coldly detached matter-of-factly way

Why do I find it so difficult to understand you? What have you done to lock your heart, that I cannot find the key?

the thing is whenever I write something I like to do it traditionally with pen and paper. it's almost therapeutic, looking at all the scratches and cancelled out lines, sometimes even paras. it's the fact that I can see where the story began and how it changed. I can literally see how it grew. I know I could just check doc history but that's no fun

i also usually write in my school notebooks which have a few pages left. I see the way my handwriting changed and I'm reminded of how i changed, how my priorities changed. how before notebooks meant studying and now they are the different worlds I created. how I went from 'my writing will never be good enough' to 'my writing is good enough for me'. It's a trip in nostalgia, one that I genuinely enjoy

It's also cuz I need to go through all my notebooks from school, cuz we don't waste paper here, ppl
