              DEAR PERSONAL BLOGS, 

please. do not. reblog an roleplayer’s posts. hear me out: it’s not because we aren’t happy that you follow us, really, we appreciate it ! it’s awesome that someone who isn’t a roleplayer takes pride or likes our work. you’re WELCOME to enjoy our characterizations, and you’re welcome to do show appreciation. but when you reblog our headcanons, interactions, self promos, or anything of the like, it can be a legitimate cause of discomfort and panic for numerous reasons. here’s a few i’ve heard: 

it messes up activity feeds !! we as roleplayers are trying to keep track of replies, and memes and followers && all kinds of things. when you reblog our things ( even pictures too much ), it can be confusing and hard to wade through personal blogs reblogging something to find things that we need !! it can be a little problematic. 

it puts our blog in public spotlight in places we don’t want. in the fandoms we love, we enjoy a character enough to roleplay them. but the issue is that not all fandoms are welcoming && it can be a large anxiety to have to realize that people are now going to see our blog && see our work when we may only want to keep it private and out of public eye. it can cause anon hate to an influx of people that have nothing to do with roleplay && it can make roleplayers uncomfortable. please be courteous ! 

it makes our headcanons easier to steal. yes, that’s a legitimate problem. it’s not that we aren’t happy you like our headcanons, it just makes it very easy for fic writers && other enthusiasts to steal or rip off a headcanon we worked hard in making without permission. we’d appreciate that you like us enough to give us publicity, but the idea that people who aren’t so honest or nice could use it is very discouraging. 

it adds hassle to interactions. when you reblog an interaction from an rp partner, it can mess up the entire process of a thread && even cause some roleplay partners to become very confused. we don’t want this, since tumblr and roleplay can be stressful enough ( esp. if you have a large follower count ). so please, don’t reblog interactions. 

again, this is NOT us telling you to unfollow OR that we don’t like you. 

                    WE LOVE YOU. 

just please be courteous && respect a roleplayer’s desire not to be reblogged. && please, if a roleplayer asks to delete a post of theirs, please do it. it can make them very nervous. have a nice day !!

Noticing the glow, Chara smirked. Even if that wasn’t the intent that Skela had in mind, since she probably couldn’t control her magic very well... Chara still took the faint glow as a challenge of sorts. 

And, with the way things were starting to go... Chara wouldn’t mind getting into a fight in the slightest. This kid was starting to get on their nerves even moreso now. 

*Once again, you’re the one that came into my personal space--

They would have continued their argument, but hearing the monster’s last words... Chara laughed. It wasn’t a legitimate laugh, but... more of a mocking one. Who did this kid think they were, talking to them like this? 

*Kid, there’s no way in hell we’d be able to relate. *It’s not even worth trying! 

There was a short pause, their gaze going back to the faint glow in the skeleton’s eye-- And, after a moment, a knife formed in Chara’s right hand- that they proceeded to absentmindedly play around with, instead of tugging at their bandages.

*And just from what I’m seeing right now? *I think someone is starting to get worked up over absolutely nothing. *What good is your magic going to accomplish? *Do you think you’d even stand a chance?

[Skela walks up and boops Chara.]

Chara almost instantly shoots up from where they were sitting, their eyes locking onto the small skeleton that had just, out of the blue, walked up to and booped them on the nose. Did this little kid even realize what they were dealing with? 

Not that the answer to that question really mattered. Nonetheless, the anomaly continued to glare at the monster for another moment before finally speaking up–

*It really isn’t smart to just ‘boop’ people you don’t know anything about.

There was quite a bit of irritation and malice in their voice as they spoke.

Well, of course they were. The majority of the feelings that they felt were those of hatred-- and it wasn’t like they were even capable of loving someone. Nonetheless, the cuteness of the monster child didn’t seem to affect Chara in any way. 

*No, I’m being blunt. *You’re the one who came into my personal space, kid. *And you’re really starting to get on my nerves. 

Honesty, they would have used their magic to form a knife, in a similar fashion to how Undyne forms her spears... But they weren’t in the mood to at this moment in time.

What did this kid think that they were accomplishing? It wasn’t like they were just going to become someone’s friend because of something so… annoying. It was, pretty obvious that the monster was pretty clueless… Maybe they could attempt to mess around a bit?

Worse case scenario, the kid got hurt. And it wasn’t like Chara cared too much about that. Either way, as they spoke, Chara absentmindedly tugged at the wrappings on their hands- though they were careful not to let them start coming undone.

*Did you ever think that, maybe, people don’t like random strangers bothering them? *Or are you too daft for an idea like that to even cross your mind?
