 “I know, Dean. We did our best, we got the job done and we only lost one victim. So what, it was a little more difficult than our usual, but we’re all going home safe and in one piece,” Sam mentioned, though you weren’t looking at him, you could tell his eyebrows were raised slightly as he looked at Dean.

 “Yeah, well other than Y/N. Why the hell did you jump in front of the friggin spirit? We had it covered and you jumped in unnecessarily and threw us off,” Dean questioned, anger still present in his voice. I know I fucked up Dean, as usual. You have every right to be mad at me, you thought.

 “The spirit was coming after you, I didn’t want you to get hurt so I jumped in to distract it, thinking I wasn’t going to get hurt but obviously it was stupid. I’m sorry,” you said quietly as you lay in the backseat. You head rest on your jacket as your legs curled into your chest. I know I’m a failure, you don’t need to tell me twice.
