RACHEL: You had me at Cheesecake. RACHEL: But really I don't know if there'd be anyone willing to match our uniqueness.
KURT: please go. i don't want to go alone. KURT: plus, what if we find our future spouses there? KURT: if it ends up to be a bore, we can go out to the cheesecake factory and get drunk.

RACHEL: Hmm... I might? Ugh. This is awful. Why'd I even agree to go. I could just not go, right?
KURT: I’m here to fix your crisis! KURT: do you have any blue topaz colored clothes? It’s your birthstone. Amethyst and Garnet are also Sagittarius crystals. Pair it with gold jewelry. KURT: fashionably late

RACHEL: okay, you know I'm in a crisis when I'm texting you last minute. RACHEL: I have no idea how to correctly display my Saggitarius aura onto others at this ball. SOS. RACHEL: I'm going to be late. @stylisthummel

Mister St. James, I'm starting to wonder if you're stalking me. And here I thought I'd be miserably without the company of those almost as talented as I am.
You should know by now that if you want to duet with me, you don't really need to ask much. It really is nice to see you, Jesse.
As I live and breathe, Rachel Barbara Berry.
You didn't offer a duet as a reason to drop by your office, so what am I to do?

Passionate people annoy you? That's a shame. Were your rolemodels not driven when you were growing up? I hope that changes for you. It's always important to have someone who can motivate and drive you, even if you grow to dislike them. It just means they were pushing you outside of your comfort zone because they also believed in you.
I had enough of you Broadway types when I was in my undergrad, living in Manhattan. Some dick in my apartment building was almost always blasting show tunes or singing at the ass crack of dawn.
Bonnie.
Sure, but I was already avoiding it, because most actor types annoy me anyway. Your particular brand annoy me most.

It's definitely not for everyone. Those who like singing aren't usually the same people who can perform. At least you're honest with yourself. My dads always taught me to be honest with myself so that I'd know I'd go far.
Definitely an interesting take, and not entirely a bad one. Though I am not someone whose passions lay with the arts. I enjoy singing, but it is never in the cards for me to do so professionally.

It's just curious, it'd be a fantastic way to see how all countries are going up against each other. But I also figure that's why there's Eurovision, even if it's not every single country.
Talking a lot isn't a bad thing, I just have a lot to say.
You talk a lot.
Music isn't a sport, that's why it isn't in the Olympics, and don't get me started on break dancing, because that's not a sport either.
There's so many different awards you can win for music and the arts, they don't need to piggy back off another competition.

At least you have passions. In my strong opinion, due to the fact that I'm usually opinionated anyhow, as long as you have a passion that drives you- that is the single most important thing.
Oh, bless your heart. I ain't tend to say things I don't mean.
Farm work, rodeo, goats, history particularly the Civil War, and cursed animal facts. I like music but it ain't ever somethin I would do professionally.

At least someone believes so. Already people are being ruthless, but I'm not sure what I expected, to say the least.
a good change and not changing can fall under the same pedestal at the end of the day. let me know when you've got some time, yeah?
the future theatre performers of the world are in good hands then with you. i know a few of my students from the studio are excited for your classes as well.

I genuinely appreciate that Doctor. Thank you so much for welcoming me. Is there anyone I should keep my eye out to help mold into a future tycoon for the stage? Or is everyone a hopeful talent? I suppose that might not even be something you're aware of, since you're in charge of admissions. Just.. wondering the rumor mill, I suppose.
You seem very excited to be here and I hope you know that on behalf of Pacific State University, we are happy to have you with us, Professor Berry. I am sure your student will benefit greatly from your knowledge and first hand experience. I may just be head of Admissions but I'm rather helpful in general, so should you need anything just let me know.

Some of my playbill collection isn't here at school.. Those are the super rare ones that will - eventually- sell for thousands. Or at least, here's to hoping. I've had quite a bit passed down from generation to generation in my family. If we ever go through financial hardship (a laughable thought), I could at least always turn to them.
hello pumpkin!!! i haven't been up to date on broadway land in many moons but my father is on broadway so i grew up around it. i think i left my playbill collection back at my parent's house, though, and i never really go back there. but i'm sure yours is very impressive!! i'm eloise, by the way!!

Wait, really? You truly think they'd try to purposefully destroy my mural? I worked hard on that. I suppose college kids are college kids no matter what. If they were rude in high school, and rude in college, it might have been a bit naive for me to assume they'd respect someone who now has a professor status at the school they attend.
It's lovely to meet you Mimi. I'll have to try The Bean again. I had a really bad experience my Senior Year of my bachelors program, so it turned me off from having coffee there.
There's a lot to unpack here, but I'm just going to give you a quick tip: Make sure you keep your office door closed at all times if you want those Playbills to stay in tact. College students are not the epitome of maturity in many cases.
I'm Mimi. I teach Journalism & Political Science at PSU. I think The Bean does a fine soy latte, do they not?

So you really are just trying to make me have a bad day. That's fine, Santana. If you truly want to keep at this cat-and-mouse game that you oh so clearly love- I'll be brutally honest with you and tell you I refuse to let it bother me. Feel free to spread lies and rumors about me. I am here because I want to help the future stars of Broadway shine. I had 11 years on the stage. I am more than happy to share the stage now and see myself exiting stage left.
Are you quite done?
I figured being black balled would make you lose your mind, but you're clearly more delulu than I expected. You can spin the story however you want to your students, but I know the truth. Clearly you're forgetting that our New York circles can't keep secrets, but especially the Broadway circle. I got my tea right from the kettle so tread lightly.
Can it, Berry. I'll never stop being petty, it's just in my DNA and I can't shake it. But you maturing is something that I'd have to see to believe. Everyone knows you get intimidated when someone is better than you, so the school should really plan to keep a close eye on any students that can sing circles around you. Not that it's hard to do that.

Hi, Rachel. I'm also a performing arts professor, so-- I guess I'll see you at the faculty meeting?

It's lovely to meet you Finn! It is a bit more of a welcome back, and a very welcome one with that. I'm so thrilled to be able to grace the halls of PSU once again with my stunning talent and drive to see the very best for the future.
Oh gosh, okay, so vegan coffee technically doesn't exist. But I was mainly hoping for a cafe that would be able to not really have anything that would mix. A lot of times cross contamination can unfortunately happen with vegans and sometimes it can even cause sickness.
Which is why I try to avoid places that have normal animal-based products as much as possible.
Nice to meet you, Rachel, and I guess it's more welcome back to PSU than just welcome. I'm Finn, a junior in Sport Psych.
Unfortunately I can't recommend a new vegan coffee place, because I was today years old when I learned that vegan coffee is a thing. Sorry about that, but I hope you can find one close to campus. They must be out there, right?

That could have been even further from what I had said, I assure you. And no, it's fine, you don't have to ask for a pity tour. I only want to show it off to the people who will actually care.
Tommy, right? We're going to be coworkers, I think. So that helps!
One of the many suggestions I'll have to attempt to try out. It's just something that I'll figure out if I like or not. Are you ready to be the people who mold the bright new stars of our future?
Not gonna lie, I consistently read Playboys instead of Playbills and I was going to ask for a tour of your office for sure. But now I feel bad, so yeah I'll come for a tour anyway.
Good to see you again Rachel, don't know if you remember me, I had a brief stint on Broadway back in the day.
I don't know any vegan exclusive coffee shops, but if you ask at The Bean they probably do vegan stuff.

No. It is not. And it wasn't a fall from grace, Santana. It was a disagreement, that's all. Mutual separation. That's all. If this is all you truly will have fuel of discussing, I have zero energy for that. I'm much more than what you think I am - and the press doesn't have all the information as well.
I want my students to shine and help them in every possible way. I'm humbling myself and letting myself guide them to success. One shouldn't be jealous of. I understand that my former self was one that was utterly... hm... jealous of certain things, but I'm much better than I used to be. Maturity does wonders to stop pettiness. You should try it.
Oh, that is your name. Updated your contact info in my phone and everything the second I heard about your fall from grace.
In your shadow? It's time to start humbling yourself, Rach. The only shadows I'd ever be in would be my parents' — one of which that has a Tony award, something you'll never be able to achieve now. You made it and fell flat on your ass in the end while I'm climbing the ladder to partner at my law firm, so I think we can see who's winning here and it ain't you, Yentl.
Right, so you're only here to show the future EGOT winners what not to do? How kind of you. But are you gonna be able to handle it when some of your students end up being better than you ever were? We both know how you lose it when someone upstages you.
Just go to the coffee shop I mentioned and you'll be fine.
